Before Eagles move up and take another Lineman you needed.

Kelce retired today so I can see them moving up to replace him.

 

They have 2 second round picks, so it's going to be hard to outbid them on moving up.

 

I seriously doubt the Eagles are gonna give up on Cam Jurgens that easily. Remember, Cam Jurgen's was selected to be Jason's replacement and, in addition, Cam was one of the highest rated IOL coming out in 2023. I imagine that they will give Jurgens every opportunity to be that Center; doubly so since he was directly under Jason Kelce's own tutelage coupled with the fact that he was one of the best Centers coming out as well.


I do agree with the OP on nabbing Jackson Powers Johnson though. If not him, Zach Frazier or even Sedrick Van Pran Grainger. One of the three.... take your pick.


Wild card.. and I don't even believe I am saying this now... is Graham Barton. If the stories of the Steelers allowing the likes of Nate Herbig to play Center is true?!... allow Barton to sit back and learn from him.

 

Read somewhere that Steelers didn’t even meet with JPJ. Maybe they are targeting someone else for center

 

They met with him at the Senior Bowl. Same for Frazier and Quinyon Mitchell. They didn't seem to double up on anyone they met with at the Senior Bowl.

 

Eagles also have Landon Dickerson who was a college Center at Bama. Eagles are not lacking at the Center position.

 

Naw, we don't need the top center. There's a reason why we didn't even interview him.

 

Well.. Mike Tomlin did meet up with him at the Senior Bowl. The team generally doesn't formally meet with Seniors who they have already had contact with. Mind you that there are only so many formal interviews allowed.

 

We'll probably go with Van Pran, after we snatch Amarius Mims. ..
