Surprised he took that, I would have stayed with the Colts and Luck for another year, see if a better opportunity would be open next season. He was very close to getting the Bears job, would have rather seen him get that one, reportedly the job was good as his and he was going to bring Whiz and Russ with him but the Bears went with the other guy at the last minute. Good luck BA! Going to need it.

Yeah not sure why he would leave that cakewalk of a job as OC of Andrew Luck for Arizona.

maybe he feels like he would have more control in arizona, or that his offense would turn things around. fitz is still there plus some good young recievers, look for floyd to come on this year.

I'm sure head coach pays WAY more than O.C. Even with a crappy team.

I really would like to know where Bruce Arian's head has been at over the years...

He was quoted saying that if he ever left the Steelers he was done coaching. That doesn't sound like someone who wants to be a head coach. Is his heart really in it???

Yeah they rallied around him because of Chuck, but I doubt he will have the same success out in Arizona. I have to laugh at teams who hire coordinators as head coaches just because they are the flavor of the month.

People say stuff that they don't mean all the time. Look at every politician to get a better understanding. Especially the dope in the WH.

I think he said that thinking he would be in Pittsburgh for a while. I don't think he anticipated losing his job after a 12-4 season

The Cards organization has been killing good coaching careers for decades. You get a chance to be a head coach you take it but it's a hard place to win consistently.
