JMO, but I think this is a bunch of nothing. Just something to talk about in the offseason.

I'd at least address the practice locker room and Training and weight room issues. Doesn't seem like that would be too big of an issue with both teams sharing the facility.

Not sure what the specific complaints were though. There were some little reports that equipment was worn or broken, but if that's the case the facilities managers should be fired! Maybe it's the sharing of the facilities that's the problem?

I kinda agree with the players ….

    - Daycare: as a player you’d want you family there on game days. What’s wrong with them providing a onsite daycare …. Players could still pay the charge for usage.

    - Weight room/ locker room —— If I was a pro athlete Id want great facilities . Thing is how bad is it in Pittsburgh??

What is league min for players 750k? Yes provide day care
And other family facilities but charge these players just as the family
Making 100k paying for child care and family facilities. These entitled, ego
centric bastards need to go and get a real job and know what pressure is to feed a family.

While I am on the subject does anyone knowing if Dion Johnson made up the youth football camp
for kids that he cancelled last year or the year before? Thanks.

Daycare? Just imagine if you had Phillip Rivers, Antonio Cromartie, Willis McGahee and Adrian Peterson on your team. They'd bankrupt the whole franchise!

Some parts are shared some are not

They share the indoor and outdoor practice fields

They share the sports medicine complex and this is also open to the public

The Steelers and Pitt have separate Sports Training Centers for athletic training, physical training, and team management.

Ahh...that made me laugh because I was thinking the same. Hell You may not have a facility big enough to hold all the kids.

Could you imagine 50 years ago players griping about not providing daycare and top tier Buffett style cafeteria food for the players? Chuck Noll would have thrown them off the team immediately. These players today are overly spoiled beyond belief.

Does your company offer daycare for when you are busy there. The players are multi millionaires certainly they can afford daycare. Heck. Most of their spouses probably don’t even work so why can’t they watch their own kids?

yes.....the players can afford it but it is just another example of how cheap the Rooney ownership is. We cut corners on cheap assistant coaches and coordinators and then refuse to fire them because they cant afford to buy them out. Really, we needed to see more a Matt Canada's offense after 2 years crap show. Only reason we kept him is he had one more year on contract. We are like Billy beane A's moneyball. We need that dollar soda money.
