If Cousins is really trying to get 30 million a year then there may be 2 or 3 teams that dumb to offer it. I hope that one of them wouldn’t be the Steelers.

For the record: It's TUH-rod (not TIE-rod) Taylor, according to

Cousins and Tannehill wouldn't last 2 games behind the O-line if they don't upgrade Center and OT. I don't see the O-line improving much over '23.

Agreed, but the problem would be ....is he fully recovered, and how long would we actually get of Him....actually this is pretty much what You said. LoL

Could be . There are a few that could be. Won't actually know until that season plays out.

For some stupid reason I get the click bait crap not only for the steelers, but many other teams. One this morning said Cowboys urged to pass on Saints FA QB. I did not click, but what moron thinks he is urging Jerry Jones to do anything? The same mindset that thinks anything posted there (or here) makes a difference in how the team will act on certain players. Now I am not a moron because the Steelers cut Mitch after I said something. lmao

That's the perfect answer. Of the 5-7 guys some have listed with 1st round grades, how many really make an impact? Some who you think should will fail because the team sucks, or they are not really NFL quality, maybe another (or more) show something taken in later rounds and we say where did that come from. It really is a crap shoot, unless someone with really good eyes is willing to move up and grab, like Mahomes and with his talent and the perfect system make a marriage made in football heaven.

If it happens will MT go bad on Monday nights, or will Cousins get good? As of 2022 MT 19-3 (2nd all time), Cousins, I think is 1-10. Not that we play that many, but you have to gripe about something. lol

I think Weidl is back for another year, so I would expect him to bring in a couple lineman again this year. I look for 2 new faces on the O-Line this year, maybe not when the season starts, but by the end I think there will be a new OT and a new Center.

Weidl loves his O-Line moves in the offseason, so I expect big changes to the O-Line in 2024.

Poor little Tyrod Taylor. He was all set to be the starting QB for the Chargers and then...

Not a college guy either. I looked up the top 4 prospects for 2024 draft. I never heard of them and I didn't look up anything but their names. When we drafted Pickett I wondered if it was smart to draft a QB whose last name literally says "Pick-it" as in pick it off for an Int. Looking at the names it doesn't look good.

Caleb Williams (name sounds like a running QB and a certain member of this board would implode)
Drake Maye ( Best bet for us. Maybe he'll be like the rapper Drake and like his song "Best I Ever Had" Drake Maye will be the best Steelers ever had)
    Jayden Daniels ( see Caleb)
Mike Penix (why to close to penis and every Int. he throws we'd call him a dick)

Free agency time can't come soon enough;) I believe middle of March. It will be interesting for Steeler fans then the Draft a month later. Sadly, until then it's BS time on a Steeler message board.

I don’t know how it’s going to go on MNF, but playoff games will be the same as they’ve been for the past 7 years

Some have us taking Travis from FSU. He fell down the board due to injury, but was one of the top QB most of the year. There is that ACC knock and the kid needs to put on another 15-20lbs. But fifth, maybe fourth, worth taking a shot

I would take Brissett as a backup, pass on Tyrod Taylor I think he's washed.

Cousins struggles in primetime games, and he only has 1-2 playoff wins, not interested in him at his asking price.

I read that he wanted 90 million for 2 years, not sure if those numbers are correct.

For some reason your post reminded me of the end of Pulp Fiction where Travolta tells Jackson, "You give him that money Jules and I'll shoot her on principal".

Just don't think he deserves those kind of dollars.

I believe that he was the first to get a total guaranteed contract. And what to show for it?

He is not worth even close to his demands. But someone will pay. Not the Steelers.

And all the talk about throwing away draft capital to a cast off Fields. The NFL teams all know the Bears are going to draft a 1st round QB. They have given up on Fields. So reality their is zero leverage to get a high pick for him or any at all. Personally I don't want him. Nor Wilson.

Roll with Pickett and bring in Tannehill or Minshew. I believe it will be Tannehill due to the Smith connection. If Pickett doesn't progress then they will have to grab a QB in next years draft.
