2014 only. But you make a very very good point. Tomlin had his best teams when he had head coaches as assistant coaches. examples are he won a super bowl with ariens and lebeau. lost a super bowl with ariens and lebeau. hasn't won a playoff game since he had a head coach as a coordinator (2017, Haley).

Fitzgerald Toussaint had 39 yards on 12 carries. That's not bad, but it's not killing it. He had 58 yards in the playoff victory over the Ravens, but that was on 17 carries. Losing both Bell and Williams was brutal. It was amazing that they had a chance to beat the eventual Super Bowl champions without Brown, Bell, and Williams.

 

he also had 60 receiving yards against the ravens along with that 58 rushing. he had 1 TD against the broncos in that game and fumbled on a seal the game carry at the end of that game. maybe not big yardage in that one but he had some critical plays made in it until the drop.

 

What about if they brought in Belichick as a DC/consultant, or whatever they called Brian Flores while He was here???

 

Let's hire him to spy on the opponents..
