Mark Davis got Jon Gruden to 10 years for $100 Million. Adding $50 million more, with an owner who has far more capital assets should be little to no problem.

 

They have a lot of pieces and some very enticing picks, 5 this year..could drop and pick up some nice capitol. I think it was either 5 or 7 of their losses were 3 points or less. not saying a SB contender right away, but definitely could see a dramatic turn around...then again its the Chargers, so there is that..lol

I saw. My most hated team and my most hated coach. What could be better? Love to see his freakish facial expressions when they choke because Bosa is hurt, or Ekeler is hurt, or Keenan Allen is hurt........or, better, they do well and Spanos fires him anyway. It's the Charger way!

No. I didn’t. He was chased out of the nfl for being an ******* and now has his college team under two investigations. It’s a surprising choice.

 

I saw the light back in the early 70s. The Chargers would be good on one side of the ball but, rarely, on both sides, Then, they started getting rid of players....... When they traded Bob Babich, who was a friend as well as my favorite player, I washed my hands of them and put my curse on them. Didn't get to see many teams outside of the AFCW then but, I saw the Steelers play somebody on TV and liked their defense (I wanted to play MLB in high school) and the team colors. Lifelong fandom was sealed with the immaculate reception game!

 

With what we know of NFL owners I don't find this surprising at all. Someone was going to hire him that's why I thought yikes were being sarcastic

 

Converts always make the best fans. Mine was geography and bloodlines - had no choice in the matter......but my daughters and 4 grand kids (all Californians) each had a choice and chose wisely as committed lifelong Steeler fans. More loyal than several in these parts ready to throw in the Terrible Towel.
