Graham Barton has been confirmed to play Center at the Senior Bowl. That said, he has only five collegiate starts to his name. Other Centers include Jackson Powers Johnson, Sedrick Van Pran and Zach Frazier. Beyond those three (four if you account for Graham).... that is.., more or less, the 2024 Center Class.

    This.

What I have been saying all season.

For that matter, draft the Georgia Lineman of Amarius Mims and Sedrick Van Pran. Go from there.

Speaking of Personnel Changes, Glenn Thomas bolted from Pittsburgh to join Matt Rhule as a QB Coach. I expect more Coaching and Front Office changes to occur in the coming days and weeks.

    Agreed.

This Off Ball LB Class is not very good. Other than two players I have identified, the rest are very Scheme specific.

I desperately want those changes but I'm not sure I expect them. Tomlin is returning and Art long ago checked out. The incompetence in this organization runs without accountability. We'll see who is really calling the shots. If the GM duo is able, I have faith they'll make good hires and drastically change the coordinators and assistants. On the other hand, I fear Austin will get extended, the horrid OL coach will stay, the temporary tag will be removed from Faulkner, and more of the same.

This draft I think we will have to watch for players strength along with position need, instead of just position need. Center is not real strong and neither is corner. Don't overdraft for position only. We need value of player per position of need.

All the more reason Amarius Mims or Taliese Fuaga would be stellar options at 20. I would like to add Graham Barton but I have to see how well he fares in the Senior Bowl. I already know he is going to test like a madman at the combine.

As you said, Weidl and Kahn give me hope. However, gonna need more than hopeful prayers to pull off this Off Season. Priority number one is finding an OC.

To that end, have the likes of Kahn and Weidl do it (doubly so on Weidls end). If Tomlin doesn't like it?! Go kick rocks.

That all said, part of an OC wanting to come anywhere is if they have a QB to work with. Given how Kenny Pickett could not get his starting job back from Mason Rudolph.... that isn't going to attract a lot of suitors. Never mind that, this presumed OC needs to have total control and full input on the Offense; something Tomlin clearly isn't willing to commit to.

I totally agree, but center must be taken care of....either by pick 2, or a FA pickup.

Fingers crossed then Tyler Biadasz is available. As we have discussed before, even good Centers are notoriously difficult to come by. Said position is too damn difficult to hit on.

Alexander is coming off of a serious injury, they might move on from him and go younger, they need to upgrade from Mack.

There might be some lesser known guys who will improve their draft stock before the draft.
