TBH the real overhaul will be determined by Tomlin and whether or not he wants to coach. There's been enough of a rumbling that I think the noise is real. He may be contemplating retirement/leaving. If he wants to coach then we are going to have him back (whether you love him or hate him). If Tomlin comes back, we are likely looking at the exact same coaching staff. I'd expect Tomlin would extend Austin, sign Faulkner to be the OC, and roll next season with KFP as the named starter with no competition.

The only way we see a true overhaul is if Tomlin steps away and we go out and get a new HC. Then we would likely let Austin walk, tell Faulker "thanks" for his OC duties and allow him to stay in his RB coach position or look for OC offers elsewhere, and go get two brand new coordinators. If we get a young OC as a new HC we might see the HC calling plays and an OC that manages the gameplanning and pass/run games.

There are lots of ways the offseason can go, but none of it goes until Tomlin decides if he's going to coach here or not next season.

 

Every single card I've ever gotten from my maternal grandmother has contained a 5 stick pack of Juicy Fruit gum. Going to be sad to not see it in there.

 

The blocks this year were great. But, if he is the guy insisting that he can turn Harvin into a NFL caliber punter then both of them can buy one way tickets out of town

 

I have two questions:

1. How’s the fat punter still on the team?
2. Who thought that Gunner guy should return kicks and punts?

if it wasn’t the ST coach, then keep him. Otherwise, he’s as big a dumbass as tomlin.

So, I'll get more off topic:

I see someone chewing gum like Danny Smith or Pete Carroll and am immediately annoyed. And if it's a woman it's a huge turmoff

Every birthday I had from age 5 to 12?!.... could always guarantee that JuicyFruit would be one of the presents. Not anymore.

 

Is this the same coach that brings back Percy Harvin every year. The Steelers seems to block an extra point and FG hear and there. However I don’t ever remember being impressed with our punt returns or kick returns.
