At least they didn't give up 40 points in a playoff game

Honestly, there was a time early in the game where I wasn't convinced that they'd put any points on the board and would face a 70 point loss. That they even racked up some points outside of garbage time was also not what I was expecting.

    Still sucked.

Mason is WHY - he was cool calm and collected in the pocket - made a number of key clutch passes w guys hanging on him. the pickens catch in the middle of the field was beast

    DJ was balling

his INT at the EZ was unfortunately the game, for the most part.

Pickens fumble at the 30 wasn't beneficial, either.

At the end of the day the D did not show up and let them drive the ball down the field for their last TD. Stop that and you have a chance to tie. Bad tackling and fundamentals. Couple that with no pressure on the QB and you have a recipe for disaster

I think the blocked FG prevented a big score. Would have been 24-0, instead we get short field and make it 21-7

I hate being critical to a team I wrote off after those 2 Historic defeats by team's that were 2-10 / 2-11.

Pittsburgh odds to make the playoffs after those games were 4%. I was not one of the believers in the team then, so I shouldn't complain now.

Why is the bar so low for Tomlin coached squads?

I guess that is a small win although the Steelers is the only team in playoff history to give up 30+ points in 5 straight playoff games.

#44 did not put any pressure and Tomlin in his mind didnt put Herbig out there. Herbig only came in to spell Highsmith. Without TJ, this team wins less than 5 games this year.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. A decimated Bills defense only gave up 17 points. So it is doable my guy.

Tomlin has been incredibly lucky that he had Ben, and now TJ. We are 1-11 without TJ. Those two have hidden the fact that Tomlin is a terrible coach, and not merely average....without a losing season blah blah.

Not sure they wouldn’t have if the Bills needed more points

It's not what you think it is. He won a SB early and has been coasting off that for last decade. He had Ben hide his faults and now TJ is hiding the fact that he is a terrible coach (without TJ he is 1-11). He hasn't had a losing season and ownership is apparently satisfied with mediocrity and not upsetting the cart .

Saw a stat that the steelers have been outscored by a combined 66-0 in the first quarter of their last 5 playoff games. That stat is absolutely astonishing and almost hard to achieve without actively trying.

They faced a better team today so you could see how a bad start might happen but they weren’t even dogs in some of the earlier games in this appalling run of playoff losses.

There are a lot of folks here who agree with you. Not controversial except for the MT apologists who are hiding under a rock right now.

Yet, the media called for Mccarthys head after Dallas loss? Go figure. RG3 wants Deion Sanders to coach Cowboys

Mason was junk in the 4th qtr. playcalling was worse. He should have ignored it.
