Peacock

I've been using YouTube TV for years. I get this sound lag from time to time that's annoying. Quality is good but the sound doesn't match up.

With Prime, it buffers for me a couple of times per game and I have to back out and come back in.

I have Spectrum. According to them my speeds are great, but who knows.

 

I have YouTubeTV. Internet is more than just speed…bandwidth and latency play a big part in it as well as your home wireless.

Had one of those living in the woods in PA. Every time it screeched would freak me out. Like someone was getting slaughtered.

 

Still having dial up internet while being on a party line doesn't help either. (You may have to explain this to some).

 

If people don't want to pay peacock to watch the game don't --there are alternatives to paying.

yes, if you live in local markets you will be able to watch on local affiliates, they are not that mean yet.

Don't remember 10 but 2 or 3 was quite common when I was growing up in the Burgh (before there were any bridges, just ferry boats and rafts). I remember taking a job as City Engineer in a small podunk town here in California in early 80's and we still had to go through the operator to make an out of town call (not necessarily even "long distance"). That was just 3 years before I got my first "car phone".

 

There's a whole lot of fat that can be trimmed from anyone's budget. I'm living away from home right now. If the Steelers aren't on local TV, I'll go to a sports bar. If that doesn't work, I'll get wdve Radio on the Internet. Watch the highlights later. Peacock is no different than the guy always asking to borrow $10 , not for a hamburger but for a pack of cigarettes.

 

My hope is that the greedy NFL gets a taste of low ratings because people won't pay to watch.

This had to come eventually, I don’t think they can raise the ticket prices any higher. Peacock is like $2.50 per month. I could have paid it for 5 years for the cost of going to one game. The real rip off is the cost of cable tv in general.

I said f them I'm not going in on Pay Per View NFL football. If that is the case they should no longer have Tax Free Status, f them. I will bag it if it goes that route!!!

If you're paying for Peacock, you're telling the NFL to do this moving forward. Bite the bullet, don't watch the game and send the message.

I hope Taylor Swift gets frostbite and Roger Goodell should be called absolute zero from now on.

For those of you that did pay to watch, hopefully it doesn't lag. Heard from more than a few that the quality hasn't been all the good.
