This was a great video! I wish many of our folks could look honestly at the positive things rather than wanting to fire everyone. We have been in transition since Ben retired. I also hear a lot of people say Mason was never given a chance. That isn’t true, he was handed the ball when Ben got hurt and put on IR. All he did was get knocked out by Earl Thomas, beat with his own helmet by Miles and benched for Duck. But, it seems that he has developed a great deal and has learned from seeing the game for several years. He has always had down the field skills, he just seemed to panic quickly and not go through his reads. And…. He certainly did not have a solid run game that supports the pass game.

 

Coach of the year type stuff? Seriously?

 

I'm excited to watch Rudolph in the playoffs.

 

Great hype. Lost me as soon as he said Walker (and LB's) were playing out of their mind. uhhh huh. right.

 

I also sent the video to some of my family members and that was their reaction too.

 

Actually though....what would Tomlin have to do to win coach of the year that He hasn't already done, and still not won. Only thing I can think of is to let us suck really bad, go 2-15, and then comeback the next year, and win a SB....because if You're being totally honest with Yourself.....We've seen coach's win coach of the year for stuff He has already done, and not won the award. Tell Me I'm lying.

 

He could win coach of the year if we get the #1 seed in the AFC, doing it with a QB that everyone has written off (Pickett). There's an avenue for him winning. Squeaking into the playoffs with a good football team is not an avenue to winning this award.

He could have won back in 2019 had we made the playoffs with Mason/Duck that year, but we lost the last 3 games down the stretch and missed. That was his last real opportunity.

 

That gave me chills. Lets go!!!!!!

 

Had he followed common sense and started MR instead of MFT when Pickett went down, I might could get behind it. MT didn’t look out for the team first. No COTY.
