Moved to Monday

i have an eye problem and can’t see myself working.

Through 2 centuries of winter ball, New York just discovered it snows there!

 

Well there goes that

 

Lame. This probably benefits the Bills more than it does the Steelers. The (hopelessly corrupt) NY Gov Hockul probably moved it for that reason. Furthermore, if the Steelers somehow win, they'll have one less day to prepare for Baltimore. On the plus side, at least Baltimore is a divisional opponent, so... it's not like we'd be totally unfamiliar with them, so I guess there's that.

 

On a personal note, the change to Monday is annoying. I planned a day tomorrow with some friends and wife's friends to have a great Sunday watching the Steelers win a playoff game in the snow!

But I do understand. It woiuld be unsafe for all travelling to the game....the storm predictions just kept getting worse.

But I wish it were back in the day....way back in the day ....the game would be played.

 

Can't let alone play in those conditions. That would give the Steelers the advantage. I call BS on this one. They are going to let the chief and Miami fans be out in wind chill conditions to 33 below. I'm about over the nfl.

 

Their owners paid the city for sure.

As much as I hate the commish, this one is on NY Governor - she knew the storm favored the Steelers.

did you just become a Steeler fan yesterday? The league, the refs, all thr forces of the universe have it in for the Steelers and constantly conspire against them.

Yes, it is true that people might have trouble getting to the game, perhaps, but we are talking about drivers who do this all the time.

 

Yea the goofy gov. That is a buffalo native. This ain't the first snow in buffalo. She was in talks with the nfl.

 

As a kid in Erie we would get forecast likes 2-4" or 1-2 feet depending upon how the winds set up, North West we would get crushed. Anyhow seriously I think we maybe had one snow day a year. I remember standing at the bus stop at the corner in complete white out conditions (no joke) where I couldn't even see my sister a foot away from me. Having said all that you actually have to the stands shoeveled and cleared for safety sake and that takes a while if its all coming down tomorrow.

 

Move to another stadium is what should have happened. This is horrible for people who travel, as well work.
