    He would be a good DC, but Tomlin most likely wouldn’t go for it.

    I would look forward to Belichick's press conference. Coach do you have a comment on Pickens 0 catches 0 yds and him and Diontae getting in a fight in the locker room. crying.

    "We are on to Buffalo this week"

    Is CAM RETIRING "We are on to Buffalo this week"

    Coach TJ says he could play next week "We are on to Buffalo this week"

    That wasn't Vrabel's decision to trade AJ Brown, he was reportedly upset about the trade.

    I remember seeing Vrabel’s reaction on draft night when the trade occurred. He was absolutely NOT happy about it AT ALL!

    Exactly. If We are replacing a coach....I don't want someone's else's failure . Give Me a New one if We are doing it. Otherwise keep Tomlin.

    No he wasn't. He took a **** browns team and had them rebuilt and in the playoffs in 3 years. The only reason year 4 was a mess was after a 3-1 start it was announced that the Browns were moving to Baltimore and the organization became a mess. The players and coaches didn't trust ownership. I don't think any coach could salvage the moral of a team after that accountment.

    He was better than porter and played smarter than llyod and with n.e. he gave us more trouble tha porter and lloyd gave n.e. , He was more of a Jack Ham l.b. ,not flashy but got the job done.

    If Tomlin moves on I want Bobby Slowvik. No to Vrabel. Maybe as a position coach but that want happen since someone will hire him to a bigger job.

    We can agree to disagree, Belichick wasnt good in Cleveland here is why:
    1991 = 6 wins 10 losses
    1992 = 7 wins 9 losses
    1993 = 7 wins 9 losses
    1994 = 11 wins 5 losses, 1 playoff win , 1 playoff loss ( his only winning season in cleveland
    1995 = 5 wins 11 losses
    Total = 36 wins 44 losses, 1-1

    you can blame the move to Baltimore as the reason why they went to ****, but the fact is he only had 1 winning season, excuses arent allowed when speaking facts.

    Does winning matter? He hasn’t gotten it done, I don’t think he’s even been .500 for years. They had really good teams down there.

    He had a playoff win because they were bottom feeders for so long they had to have a good team. Tomlin’s success has been to his detriment. We have picked very late teens and twenties for years. Could have tanked like the rest of them but that’s not in his DNA.

    This has the same vibes as Tomlin only won because of Cowhers players.

    Nope not at all. The Titans had good draft position and he had several shot at success. There is not reason for them to have had losing season for the past several years. They wasted King Henry, let AJ Brown walk.

    On further reflection, I don't see how Vrable is a significant upgrade to Tomlin. Now Belichick, that is a completely different scenario.

    You’re discrediting his playoff victory because of draft position. That is the same as discrediting Tomlin because he inherited a good team. Still have to coach them.

    You also are not taking into account Tannenhill was his best QB. Far cry from Ben. And yet still went to a championship game more recently than Tomlin and also has a COY under his belt.

    Guys a good coach.

    didn’t say he wasn’t, he’s just not better than ours. Draft picks certainly matter, if a coach is part of picking the #1 overall, people can expect results.

    He got to an AFCCG with Ryan effing Tannehill as his QB. It doesn’t take much digging to see that he’s been put in the hole by personnel decisions made above him.

    TOMLINs success? When in 2008 and 2010? That the last time that guy had any type of success.

    So if Tomlin walks away we shouldn’t try to replace him? Just fold up the organization and call it quits.

    I don't understand why people are so shocked that Vrabel was fired, he's been the epitome of mediocrity. Barely over .500, and his team fell apart this season. I'm not a big Tomlin fan, but I'd take him over Vrabel any day. But as you have alluded to, Belicheck would be an upgrade, but at 71 years old, I just don't see it happening. The Steelers history tells us that they like to hire young, and upcoming coaches. I don't see that changing any time soon

    We should really try to persuade Vrabel to be our DEF Coordinator. He is not going to be pats. head coach. He might get a college job but I would really like him as our def. coach.

    I wouldn't have a problem with them bringing in Vrabel as the DC, I think he could be very good in that capacity

    Nope, doesn’t look very happy at all :lolol:

    On another note, NE already hired a HC so he isn’t going there.
