Garrett is top 5, but not in the same class as TJ, nobody is

 

You forgot Maxx Crosby, he's every bit as good as Garrett

 

He's in that company for sure. Definitely missed him.

 

I’d say better. Maxx doesn’t have the same supporting cast but he’s a beast for sure.

 

The Browns are the darling team of the NFL this year. Of course Garrett is going to win it. He doesn't deserve it, but he'll still win.

 

Don't forget Troy. That guy did things no other human could do.

 

One of my favorite non-Steeler players to be sure. Has a non-stop motor like TJ.

 

It's all Abt DEI ,how else would you explain pushing players with lesser stats for DPoy?

The hype is that he very much looks like a beast and was the #1 overall pick in his draft. Soo many people want to be vindicated in what they predicted, that they will push a certain player over another one.

All the comps on TJ were right around a solid starter to a plus starter and many had him not even as a first rounder. Garrett had perennial All-pro on damn near every one of his. So you can't have your numbers be that off and he's playing well enough to be in the conversation so you play that up and sell your metrics by trying to convince everyone that although TJ is a HoF player, you were correct in saying Garrett is the best choice.

 

Team MVP is for the guy most valuable to his team.

To me, League MVP is for the player who is: (1) best at his position, and (2) comparatively best at his position versus how good the other players are at theirs.


But I don’t live in the real world.

 

All these accolades and just a couple years ago he could have killed Rudolph!,

TJ also has 4 forced fumbles and 3 recovered.

If anything, those two are a tier below him.

 

I didn’t really want to bring it up but this is my initial feeling all along. If TJ watt doesn’t win it with his stats against the others then I’m 100% certain that is the ultimate reason.

Garrett certainly showed up in both games against the Steelers, but neither time did he affect the game the way Crosby did when the Steelers played the Raiders.

 

I assume he is referring to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, so he's trying to make this about race and politics.

 

Let’s not forget it’s completely fabricated by the left which is…………normal for them.

Garrett leads the league in pass rush win rate. The stat that measure almost but not quite sacks

 

Then I’d be happy if he almost but not quite won DPOY.
