Was just fired. If Tomlin decides to move on, what would you think about Vrabel? I know in all likelihood the Steelers would hire an unknown but I think Vrabel is a good coach, players love him, locker room is buttoned up, I would like that move.

We could certainly do a lot worse. I wonder if Belichick is out maybe Vrabel would go to the Patriots.

There are reports he would want to go to NE if that happens. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true given his history there.

I thought he did well with the Titans. However letting AJ Brown go and keeping Derrick Henry seems odd. RBs don’t age well and WRs last until possibly 35. Plus Henry’s backup was decent. In general I would rather see a offensive minded coach.

I agree with this, but could also be supportive if he could bring said OC with him. But that is also my desire with Tomlin so...

I like Vrabel a ton... but if Tomlin does indeed resign, I'm looking at Antonio Pierce as my #1 candidate.

Imagine if Tomlin had just coached us to two straight losing seasons. Would this forum be frothing at the mouth to see him fired or what? And yet we talk about hiring Vrable. Smh. You guys kill me.

I have to admit, that firing is a bit of a shocker.
As I understand it, The Titans were pretty banged up.
But I kind of think Willis sunk him.. I think the Front Office was expecting big things there.

He did a good job in a suck situation. I heard (whatever that means) that Madden would like to consider Jim harbaugh, but a lot are. Madden with the outstanding money owed to fired coach's, and for the vision and love he has for the Raiders would be foolish not to try and keep Pierce.

He has a AFC Championship appearance and playoff victory more recently than Tomlin.

Unless you are planning on hiring a guy with no resume, you’re hiring someone that was just fired.

Willis or Levis? Willis was a 3rd rd pick but they moved up for Levis, I didnt understand that move at all.

    Willis.
The owner mentioned that they made a move for a talented young QB and that they expected big things.

Why would they hire a failed coach?
