    Love auto correct.

What I was saying, is you don't want to do the homework. Because you know it'll show in my favor of the argument.

What homework? The fails season after season speak for themselves.

The last 2 rings the Steelers have won have been without elite/superior qb play. Ben was a game manager on both of those championship teams. In fact, Ben was outplayed by both opposing qbs(Hasselbeck and Warner) in the SBs he’s won. Even in the 3rd SB that they reached with Ben, he was outplayed by Mark Sanchez in the afc championship game. The teams that reached the SB during Ben’s career were all led by the defenses, not Ben.

If you want to judge Ben’s best years by team success(which I agree with), then those came during the years before he was deemed a franchise guy when they were led by dominating defenses. Tomlin had a dominating/legendary defense to work with during that SB window.

The Patriots dynasty was about the greatness of Beli’s system and culture(which does include cheating), plus Brady’s individual greatness.

You’ve got to put that Brady ring with the Bucs in proper perspective. The Bucs already had a really good offense before Brady got there, Winston just threw 30 ints. The biggest reason for the jump from 7-9 to SB champ was the improvement to their defense and not having their qb throw 30 ints. It’s not like Brady could’ve gone to any team and won. He picked the Bucs for a reason.

I don’t agree that a qb is the biggest factor and especially not in a league where there’s a lot of mediocre qb play. Again, the last 2 rings came without elite qb play. They just finished a season 10-7 with bottom-5 qb play and without the rash of injuries could’ve had an even better record.

I dont know why you think this “sucks”. This is only year 2 in the rebuild/reload. Have some patience. Let them rebuild the roster and plug the holes around the talent that’s already here. You can make the playoffs with your 3rd string qb and guys off of the street playing key roles. Just imagine when they do get this roster all the way together.

Ben's contribution in our super bowls, especially in 2005, is still criminally underrated....I mean, he had a passing rating of 125 in the 3 road playoffs game and in the regular season, Ben was one of the best for QB rating and YPA....He was a true playmaker, not a game manager...A game manager is someone you ask to not make mistakes and you are happy with that....You can't have a 8.9 yards per pass attempts if you are a game manager

A game manager would have made a checkdown instead of a TD on his TD to Hines Ward in Denver!

Mason has had a 3 game stretch where his rating is great and he has a 9.7 ypa. He’s still been just a game manager though. His job over these 3 games was to not make mistakes and distribute the ball to the playmakers by taking what the defense gives him and he did that well. That was Ben’s job on the 2 SB teams that he was on.

Jesus Christ they won 10 games. The stupidity is almost scary. There cannot be another fan base in any sport that is so ridiculous. Name a coach that has done better after they had lost their starting QB. Belichek? Noll? Obviously there have been guys luck up into a QB after losing their guy but most of the time they struggle. Are you going to fire the Eagles coach now? Andy Reid? Their teams are dissolving as we speak. It is what happens as a result of success. As of yesterday, Tomlin has won the most games in team history and is a first ballot hall of fame coach and you idiots want to fire him. I truly hope the guy steps down and moves to another team so you can see what it’s like to truly be bad. Steelers football is not the coaching carousel, move on to another team! The Rams or Broncos guys, they change everyone after every season, because they listen their fan base’s sophomoric emotional breakdowns.

You compare 3 games of Rudolph vs 2 seasons for Ben...I mean c'mon...And yes I consider that Rudolph was great and crucial for the steelers vs Bengals and seahawks....Very important for a QB to make some big play or your offense will likely be below average even if the running game is elite.Pickett and Trubisky was not able to make big play even when the running game was great

I did no such thing. I took the point that you were trying to make and put it in proper perspective. You tried to claim that Ben wasn’t a game manager in ‘05 because he had a high rating and ypa. I just used Mason to illustrate that you can have a high rating and ypa while still being a game manager.
The game manager description isn’t an insult. Cam Newton tried to explain this a couple of weeks ago. While I don’t agree with everything his premise was right. Nothing wrong with being a game manager and it takes great skill to be that at its highest level.

Philly lost to the same team. This isn’t college football, they are pros and they can win games even if their record is not that great. The cards beat Philly and Dallas. Double diget wins in the NFL is very difficult. It’s crazy how guys like TJ Watt, who I’m guessing know a dam sight more than you do, think he’s doing a great job. Your name indicates Vegas, why do you not follow the Raiders? They change coaches every two years and don’t maintain winning seasons.

Way to rationalize losing to two of the worst teams in the league! That's the standard that MT has cultivated. It's his trademark.

So 5-1 in a division with no losing teams, and 10-7 overall is not good, and doing it with the 2nd most injured players on a team this season. That's not good???? LoL. LoL. Are some of You listening to yourselves???
No matter what stat, record, or anything You bring up....what I said is still impressive, and if You are completely honest with Yourself....You know it is.

So do the Eagles fire their coach now because they are on a 4 game skid about to lose to NY? After going to the SB last year and having a great draft???? Should they have fired their SB winning coaches (Peterson & Reid)?

No question this team overachieved but do the amount of injuries in any way correlate to the amount of time the defense was on the field this season? Was that because said coach wanted the worst OC back on this team and thus the sucked balls for possession after possession just putting our defense on the field way too much. The same coach still believed Mitch T was the best solution to start the season last year and to go to him after KP went down this season. For me the team should have been in a better position and then I can play fantasy and say, had he dumped Mitch earlier perhaps we don't have TJ basically out because perhaps our position would have been secured and he would have been rested. Had he dumped the **** OC at the bye instead of waiting perhaps we would have been better as well. The players love to play for him but nothing has changed in my mind to say yep lets go sign Coach T for 5 more years.

Who would you sign? Who is out there that can win it all with Kenny and dominate forever? Who? You’re the GM, who?
