Chris Simms has said that the opposing bad defense is the reason why the steelers score many points in the last 2 games

He is not that wrong but Simms had predict a bengals win with the steelers scoring like 13 points 2 week ago....And the steelers have been awful on offense for so long no matter the opposing defense....The last 2 games were likely our 2 best games on offense since 2021

That's not what He really says in this. He's actually giving Mason some props.....well to an extent.

Mike Lombardi said something similar about stretching defenses being the key, on McAfee show. You gotta have a QB who stretches defenses basically is their point.

He’s a 100% right. Credit where credit is due, Rudolph stands in the pocket and lets plays develop. That is the single most important difference right now.

One area Rudolph still needs to be better at is his footwork. His pass to Pickens last game where Pickens laid out for it for a great catch I felt could have been a TD if Rudolph was working the pocket. It was a nice display of arm strength but if he was bouncy and moving around I think he could have hit Pickens in stride.

His short game has improved, at least in these two games so now I want to see better foot work and most importantly how he handles pressure. He was the lowest rated QB when he is under duress as opposed to one of the best rated QB when he had time to throw. Ravens will be a good test for him.

I'd say that's a understatement. The Ravens D is top 5 in every category, and number one in turnovers, and scoring D. The most important stats on Defense in my humble opinion.

The only thing is how serious will they take the game. I have to think though that they’d like nothing more to knock the Steelers out.

Not sure about that. The Seahawks sent six on that play and the line bent, but didn't break, leaving limited space for Rudolph to move around short of rolling completely out of pocket.

Here's a video I bumped into last night of a Seahawks fan reacting to the highlights. The play we're talking about is around 25:50, but I rewound to the highlight before where Najee double stiff-arms the CB into the turf just because his reaction was amusing.

Especially being a game up already for the year. If we beat them Saturday, the is a chance we could meet again. And lamar just ain't that good against the Steelers, 2-4 with 7 fumbles, 7 interceptions, and 20 sacks.

Mason reminds me of Ben in the Shotgun, where he really is at his best. (He couldn't outrun Peyton Manning in a footrace if he had to.)
But he also reminds me of a guy named Rypien.
Of course, he 'stands in the pocket' - he's barely adequate on the run.
So going with Mason, you have to pass block and you have to run the ball.
Mason, like Ryp, likes the deep ball and is pretty decent with it.
He's also been on this team since 2018. So he knows things.

Some of these outrageous claims on Kenny are just that.

    BUT
Kenny needs to group with his WR's/TE's and get that bond going.
In the offseason, I'd like to see him host some sessions with those guys...
It's total BS he doesn't throw long.. the chemistry just isn't clicking yet.. and it well be his fault.
Yet our WR's need to shoulder some blame here. It is also in their best interest to huddle with the QB and work together to figure out something.
If you are on the same page with your QB, your stats will go up and therefore your fame and money.
The way they act now reminds me of working with the practice throwing machine. JUGS

One can lump coaching here as well. He can't force that unity, but he can practice it.
A new OC (if competent) will figure this out and get it going or get different assets.

I like the All 22 angle. Pocket is closing in but hasn’t lost containment yet, still room behind him, felt maybe he could shuffle back just a little to give himself more room and deliver a more accurate throw. You could be right though, might not be evaluating that correctly. Tough play for sure, happens fast and still made a great play so I’m not going to kill him over it. It’s just the larger point that his footwork was one of the reasons he failed the first time around.

He failed the first time due to:

    Poor footwork/pocket awareness
    Poor short/intermediate game
    Terrible under duress

Now in two games there has actually been improvement in all three of those areas so thats promising. If he can do that against better competition he may actually take the job from Kenny for good. Then I’ll be excited as @JackAttack 5958@JackAttack 5958

Seems pretty logical to me. If you were to ask some around here, you would find that Mason's problems were fixable. Apparently Kenny's are not.

Only thing you'll find interesting is Lamar with SB trophy over his head;) Just goofing with you.

I'm an AFC guy and the only team in NFC I would root for in the SB is Lions. I think both Cowboys and Niners are looking to tie us and the Pats. Not that it matters but I don't want that.

The 49ers/Ravens SB was a tough one. Root for the 49ers who would tie us in SB’s or the Ravens :puking:

If you watch the All 22 is there any sound with it or is it just a silent movie per se
