Well, you will not have to worry about seeing that crew again after week 18.

Report: NFL officiating crew that oversaw controversial Lions-Cowboys ending 'downgraded' for postseason
The same crew was involved a controversial no-call in a Week 13 game

They'll be okay. They've got that "extra income" from Vegas coming in!

That was a terrible job of officiating and everyone is saying it cost the Lions the win. But consider this. Had the official gone to the defense and revealed that 68 was eligible he probably would not have been so wide open. At any rate, the official blew it.

I heard that as well on Dan Patrick, a loss is a loss, and officials will make mistakes, but this can't happen..something as simple and potentially important. II don't know all the specifics, but even if both teams are already in the playoffs, potential homefield can be lost, one team may lose their division and have no HF game. in the playoffs it would be worse, and not even talking about potential millions lost (or won) be gamblers. The NFL has a problem and just keeping the crew out of the playoffs does not solve it.

You can hear him announce 70 as eligible over the mic. They had been using 70 during the game and that was part of the "trick" of the play. Ref got tricked though and it cost them.

Good question: "which is why it's interesting that Allen and company are being given a national assignment just one week after such a consequential misstep. With Pittsburgh fighting for a playoff spot, everyone should buckle up."

Crazy; You would think the NFL would send this crew to the game with the smallest TV audience, not a nationally televised Saturday game.
