IF - AND IT'S A BIG "IF" - Mason Rudolph has a big day versus Baltimore the Steelers may have found theit franchise QB and it isn't KP8. Mason's been a hard luck guy since he was deafted and Ben was "insulted." Ben is no rocket scientist but his physical gifts, history and hope combined to make Rudolph an afterthought for years.. Staing ready to play plus maturity may have combined to make MASON THE successor to Ben the Steelers truly need. If so, it settles a big question for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Steelers have 5 scenarios to make the playoffs …

    1) Steelers win and Colts and Texans tie

    2) Steelers Win and Buffalo loses

    3) Steelers win and Jaguars lose or tie

    4) Steelers tie and Colts and Texans do not tie and the Jaguars lose

    5) (Even with a Steelers loss) Colts and Texans do not tie, Jaguars lose and Broncos win.

When was Chubb hurt? I only watched a little bit of that game. Losing Chubb is a big deal. They are going to face Josh Allen with a big chunk of their pass rush out of the lineup.

The Steelers have gotten some bad breaks with some close games going the way of teams ahead of them for the playoffs, but as you wrote, it's their own damn fault for losing four out of five games.

Chubb went out with a torn ACL with 3 minutes left in the game during a 56-19 loss. McDaniel is catching a lot of heat for that and admitted that he shouldn't have had Chubb in the game at that point.

Haha, not only that he'd be a franchise QB starting at age 29.

Wrong Chubb. Bradley Chubb plays for Miami and is a linebacker.

Staubach comes to mind. He had his naval commitment from the academy (4 years) and did not with Dallas until he was 27.

They are probably going with Tannehill this week as Levis is injured. Levis looked like the next Brett Favre in his first game but has really struggled after that. I think the veteran Tannehill gives the Titans a better chance to win.

That’s all great and everything however Tennessee is awful.

Bills are minus 3.5 at Miami?? That line is very telling Miami must be missing players.

Yep. Very good chance we get in with a win mostly because Miami is home and has incentive to win division.

If I remember correctly, we needed Miami to win a couple years ago for us to make it in, and they failed

Last yr, the Steelers needed the Dolphins to lose the last game at home vs NYJ, but they won on a last minute Fg. Starting QB for the jets that game: Joe Flacco

I think the most possible thing to happen is the Jags losing to Titans....I just don't trust Miami to do anything that will help us out.

Fingers crossed that we don't have to wait til Monday Night to see what our Destiny is.

Wow. That's incredibly stupid. Gotta love the stupidity of a coach of another team possibly costing the Steelers a playoff berth. (I know. I know. They can mostly blame themselves for failing in consecutive games against 2-10 teams. )

Waddle missed the last game. I'm not sure about his status. Chubb tore his ACL when he was on the field for no damn reason at the end of a blowout last week.

Also, the Bills beat the crap out of them in Buffalo earlier this season.

The Titans suck, but the Jaguars have lost four of five, with the lone victory coming against the worst team in the league, the Panthers.
