Super physical, tough D, disciplined. They bully other teams.

Steelers have gone to crap under Tomlin.

 

Isn't that what the Ravens have always been? I can't remember a time when they weren't physical with a tough defense.

I was watching the Ravens game early and we can only dream of our offensive line being like theirs. They were giving LJ crazy amount of time to just scan the whole field, it was crazy!!

 

Even if our line did that, Pickett would still spin to the left and try to hit a receiver on the roll out, lol.

The ravens are more like the seahawks in the early Wilson days, they proved that you can win with a running back at qb if you have a dominant defense and strong running game. And yes, the running back will occasionally have a big game throwing the ball, that's just the way the rules have been set up.

 

Remember that season when that "running back" had 5 tds in 3 games, and 4 td's in 2 other games - and won MVP? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Yeah the Ratbird's are playin better Steelers football than the Steelers are or have been able to play in I am guessing close to 17 years. Well maybe 2 or 3 years less than 17.

Since they moved to Baltimore its like they took the Cowher plan and just stayed with it, not always successful. But when they are playing well they are playing smash mouth football.

I was never concerned that Miami was that good but it was impressive seeing them beat the 49'rs.

My hope for the Steelers is that they can keep their front office together and let Khan and Weidl continue to build the offensive and defensive lines and improve the overall depth of the roster.

This yrs draft was the best in a number of years , but it will still take time.

When we were very good our depth was incredible , it has been weakened in the past 8 -10 yrs with too many reaches and misses.

Stick with the plan and the good days will return. Come draft time send Tomlin on a nice vacation.
