@S.T.D…. Did you know Masons qb rating was 124 for Bengal game? Yet some on here think that KFP had a better game against the Bengals! KFP cant come close to 80 rating yet he would’ve done better. Sometimes i feel like Einstein, yet im stupider than a box of dicks

QB Ratings don’t count moxie, and grit and heart. And that he went to Pitt.

Yes.. it was the highest that week I believe, but I never mentioned it because I hate Qb rating stat.....I believe it's a goofy stat....so I never mention it.

Maybe. It's just one stat I don't trust. For example we saw Trubisky last year.....yet last year He had a better QB rating than Ben's last year.....Yet Ben had way more tds, and less turnovers per game, and way more wins.....it makes no sense sometimes....so I don't pay it much attention. I do pay attention that KFP has had only one multiple td game His whole career, and Mason has 6 in way less games.
I make it sound like I hate KFP, but I don't....I want Him to do well, but like I said before....right now Mason is the best Qb on the team., and KFP not feeling any threat from Trubisky isn't helping His growth.

Why do you think it’s a goofy stat? It’s not perfect, as no stats are. But it measures 4 factors that are pretty much key measures of QB performance: Completion %, yds/attempt, TD/attempt, int/attempt.

if you looked at the QBs in any particular yr, the ones you think are best will almost always have the highest QBRs, The ones you think stink will have the lowest QBRs.

Do you actually look at the numbers? Mitch’s QB rating last year was 81. Bens last rating was 86.

Mason stinks it up on Sunday:

"I've said all along that Mason is what he is. That's why nobody else wanted him."

    Mason balls out Sunday:

"I've been saying all along Mason is the best QB on the roster and they never should have drafted Pickett!"

There's going to be some interesting reading come Sunday evening.

Hard to look at stats and say if he's ready. Lets look at Favre. about his first 32 games: TDs: 27 INTs: 39 Sacks: 65

Did Favre deem himself not ready?

why is this best case scenario for Tomlin? Pickett cannot do much, we have seen this in ~ 25 games. If Rudolph gets injured and we HAVE to bring in Pickett, then, yes, THAT is good for MT, but if Rudolph is sucking, this is NOT GOOD for anyone.

It doesn't matter who plays QB. They all suck.

Not fair. You haven't even given McSorley the chance to suck yet.

Btw, you ready for an Iowa-sized beat down Monday?

unfortunately, Pickett has none of Favre’s physical abilities.

How often do the Steelers pull off a decent screen pass? There's the always reliable wide receiver screen that gets dumped for a three yard loss

The real question is, can the hawkeyes put up more than 9 points on the scoreboard. UT is starting Nico so should be interesting to see what the freshman QB can do. Hope he can live up to the $8M NIL deal he scored!
