Rashard Mendenhall:‘I Don’t Know If There’s A More Attacked Player’ Than Me Due To Super Bowl Fumble

No, Rashard. People moved on from the fumble years ago. People attack you because you keep trying to play victim about anything and everything, from football to race to other ****. That's why you're not liked.

He has said nothing that has pissed me off. I don’t care about him at all therefore anything he says is meaningless white noise.

 

Mendenhall was definitely not to blame for the loss. At least not to the degree people did blame him. GB lost several War's to injury if I remember correctly and they had numerous key drops. We were fortunate to be in that game at the end. We were outclassed that game.

I think Neil O'Donnell is attacked slightly more than Mendenhall.

 

The problem for Mendenhall and it's funny is that every time everyone forget about his fumble, he talks about it again!!

I never even think about the guy, and then every year here comes something that he says once again to get himself mentioned trying to be relevant. Or to claim he is wrongfully held accountable for something. Or to blame the HOF quarterback for everything.

Maybe there are a few clowns out there that follow him around bashing him on social media or something, but for him to even think that he is this person we gather for every year to burn in effigy is hilarious.

He's not that important.

That can be unbearable and require outbursts every year for the rest of his life. I don't how a person with countless millions of dollars can make it through the day under those conditions.

Honestly, I took some of those afc championship game losses harder than super bowl 45.. and super bowl 30 was a worse defeat. Maybe winning two super bowls the few years prior took some or the sting away from 45... but the Packers were a better team and probably deserved it more anyhow. Sucks to lose a game like that with a chance to win it at the end, but it happened. When I think of Mendenhall, I think of all the idiotic things he's said post football, not the fumble.

 

Move on with your life Rashard. Nobody really blames you 100% for that missed block and your fumble. Quit bringing it up and it will slowly fade away. You and LeVeon should just concentrate on the DQ drive thru orders so you don’t mess those up also. What a clown!

 

Definition of narcissist. Like others, I never would have thought of him again, really. I never once blamed him for the loss in that super bowl. It's the ignorant comments that I will always remember him for.

 

The loss to the Jaguars in 2017 was much more demoralizing to me than the Super Bowl loss in 2010.Of course, I was very sad for the next few days after our loss against the Packers but then I realized that there was a lot of positive to remember after this super bowl....The loss against the Jaguars, just a total embarrassment!

For Mendenhall, I never blamed him for the super bowl vs Green Bay, it was a team loss

There have been many that ate me up. I'd say #1 for a hell of a long time was the Chargers in the Burgh. Then years later along come the Jaguars and if that was not bad enough the Browns and both in the Burgh.

 

I watched a tv special on Kordell Stewart one time and he addressed this rumor in great detail and he convinced me that it was nothing more than a horrible rumor. He could have really let it destroy him as a person but just moved on with his life instead in a very positive way. I have way more respect for Korkie than I do for Mendenhall who really acts like the world is out to get him.
