Ok a lingering neck/shoulder injury for Purdy means trouble for 49ers.

    They may be in trouble.

If there is one thing that is damning about this entire game is how important coaching is. Talent acquisition is one thing but the ability to maximize that talent is of another matter. The fact that the current and upcoming playoff teams in the 2023 season prove this further.

With any luck, Art Rooney II can understand this. For that matter, having the likes of Kahn and Weidl add in their own would be even better. If Tomlin has a problem with it?!

    Too damn bad.

I really don't have any animosity toward Mahomes other than his loud-mouthed old lady. But we sometimes saw it with vintage Ben. To Quote Gregg Allman, "I might steal your diamonds, but I'll bring you back some more". Guys like that play with fire.

Wait, so Harbaugh has coached the Ravens for 16 years and 1 Super Bowl(with Billick's players)
And Tomlin has coached the Steelers for 17 years and 1 Super Bowl win(with Cowher's players)?

Wonder if the Ravens fans want to get rid of Harbaugh.

Wonder if the Tomlin supporters have this one in their arsenal.

Wonder what the street value of this mountain is .....

    Yep.

Basically, Patrick is a Devil May Care QB with the Gunslinger mentality to match. He may make Chiefs fans pull their hair out but his penchant for making the impossible possible is simply too tremendous to be ignored.

Honestly dude, Pickens behavior during the Colts debacle just made me see red. I can't take much more of Tomlin occasionally taking guys with questionable character with the belief that he can "fix" them or manage their quirks. I've had it up to here. I know people sometimes make mistakes. But Pickens and Johnson are selfish jerks. I've seen enough.

For me, the next two games still will determine Pickens' future in the Steel City. As for Diontae?! I doubt the team is going to eat that cap hit... for now. Should this continue in 2024.... Diontae could likely be traded.

Lamar Jackson as MVP because of tonight?

    Why?

He did his job as a QB.

Harbaugh and Tomlin are having very similar careers. Mikes Regular Season numbers are a little better while Johns playoff numbers are. Both have one SB win. I guess the bigger issue is the Ravens are on the cusp of another championship while the Steelers couldn’t be further away so no I don’t think Ravens fans should feel the same.

Didn’t say they could. They needed to win last night and the following for that to happen. Then hopefully they’re resting starters when we play them.

I still think Buffalo has the best chance to win vs Baltimore in the playoffs in the AFC...Maybe Miami, we will have a better idea for Miami on Sunday...I believe Flacco will come back to earth soon, possible they will win a playoff game vs the AFC south winner but after that it will be harder for them

Match-ups , or styles make the fights. It's why the Great Bill Belichick has never beaten Cam Newton, Lamar Jackson, and D. Watson, but We have never lost to any of them except once, and that was against Lamar Jackson with Duck Hodges in overtime.

Here's a tid bit of info.
The Ravens have won two games Lamar Jackson hasn't scored a single point in, and He also had at least one turnover.
The 49ers haven't won one game Purdy hasn't scored in. Make of that what You will.

That also means that, unlike those other two teams, they have lost in the final 2 minutes 3 times this season.

TD don't always tell the whole story....I mean sometimes you do all the work to put your team in the red zone but this is the RB who finish the job with a one yard rushing TD...It happened too often for Ben Roethlisberger in his prime(like the 2015 season)!

still very good...we will see how he bounce back from that game but the game vs ravens will likely cost the MVP for him

The Ravens sometimes have problems keeping their big lead since at least last year... Otherwise they have been so dominant this year (first in defense in PPG and 4th in offense)

All teams do this. You think the 49ers don't???Hell we did it just last week, and all teams do it every week....let's not act like the Ravens are the 1st team to think of it. I don't like either Qb so I don't care....I just thought it's a interesting piece of information.....that one team wins(Ravens)without their Qb scoring, and even turning the ball over in those wins, and the other Qbs team(49ers) has lost every game their Qb hasn't scored at least once.

The 49ers and the ravens have 24 rushing TD,second best in the NFL....The dolphins are first with 26...The difference, the 49ers and dolphins have many explosive run by their RB....Gus Edwards of the ravens has 12 rushings TD, and 11 of those were inside the 5 yards line and the other were in the 7 yards line....
