That's good news to hear. Maybe he can tell tell Woodley to do the same (or play for free since he pretty much stole the Steleers money during the 2012 season)

This is good to hear, but I hope this doesn't affect the way we draft this year. I still think the steelers need to draft the best pass rushing LB at #17 this year.

IMO we go OLB in round 1 with Harrison or without him. The advantage to having him is a rookie (or Jason Worilds is more likely) doesn't need to start from day 1.

I think where our slot is, makes a pass rusher a pretty sure thing. There's a lot of guys that would fit our defense in that range. Barkevious Mingo, Ezekiel Ansah, Dion Jordan.

The only other possibilities I see are a trade up if Te'o slides, Jonathan Banks at 17, or Matt Elam at 17 (or maybe trade down a few spots and take him).

Steelers should jump on this now, and Harrison will work his but off in the offseason. Maybe Woodley would joint him in the workouts! :hmmm:

This right proves that he wasnt 100% this year.

"I‘ll have time to do the proper therapy treatment that I‘ll need and rehab my knee. I won‘t be out there trying to get it good enough so I can play the next week.”

Exactly. Big difference between restructuring and taking a pay cut.

He really should have had that surgery earlier in the year last year. I think he and the team even said that at one point. He's still got at least one year left in him.

They wont ask him to restructure, they will ask him to also take a pay cut.

Would love if he was around just in case for next year, but I hat to say it, they might have to cut the cord and let him go.
