Man, I absolutely LOVE this guy. He’s made in the mold of Hines Ward and defensive players have to keep their heads on a swivel when he’s around. He puts it all on the line every week and he and TJ are the two highest effort players on the team. He’s also very humble in his approach which is refreshing in this age of ultra-diva behavior from a lot of guys his age. I hope he gets a nice fat paycheck on his next contract with us and he’s a vital part of our offense for the next 7-8 years.

Warren is a breath of fresh air in a disappointing stank season.

He really needs to be the starter. But we have a head coach (s) with blinders on. Rooney probably issued them.

Can't say enough good about him.
He's fine as a rotational. It adds to the attack.
I want to keep him a Steeler till he's done.

    I would imagine he will.

Harris' contract expires 2026 (with 5th year option - Harris still accounts for 1/2 of the Steelers ground yards. They will have to make a decision there. Harris is a $4mil cap hit and probably will be looking for more. Regardless, he'll be the RB in 2024 and auditioning for a contract, so we are in a good spot.

Warren's contract expires 2025 - He's making Undrafted FA money and has a great argument for an extension. He still needs the Bull RB to offset him. I think about the 'Pollard' scenario... I don't know what Dallas was thinking.

Warren definitely deserves a good contract.

His style of play reminds me a lot of Maurice Jones Drew who played for the Jags.

A lot stronger and quicker than he looks just like he was as a player.

So long as Najee isn't looking to repeat Leveon Bell, I expect him to sign an extension.

I think having both of them is a big plus for the team. They have different running styles. Different body styles. And different strengths. The ability to switch back and forth between a fast running back with good vision and a very strong powerful running back gives our offense some extra tools. It also helps that because of the rotation you always have a good running back on the field that is not winded. Most teams, when the primary comes out, you know that it is most likely going to be a pass play because the primary is out. But when you are switching back and forth between two competent running backs, you just never know.
    .
Najee has two directions that he can go to improve in my opinion. He can drop some weight and gain speed, or he can develop his vision a little bit better so that he can see those holes. The one thing he needs to stop doing is trying to outrun the defense in a race to the sideline. He's just not fast enough for that.
