Big game for Ole Mason. How he performs could mean everything for his career. Hope he doesn't stink the place up so he gets a good QB rating for today. How Mason does will depend largely on the offensive line. Some of those guys might not be back next year. Pickens game depends on how much time Mason gets. If everything goes well, just might have a good game. But, if Mason has to run around for his life, and Pickins gets tired of running his routes, the headlights are gonna be all over Tomlin. In order for any hope of extending our season depends on the Steelers winning today. It's not hopeless but I'd give them less than a 50/50 chance. Course the Steelers gotta win sometime so Buckle up

Actually pumped for the game. Look forward to seeing how Mason does. Kind of like throwing the poor guy to the lions. I imagine we'll see him on his ass more then a few times. Want to see how they play as a unit. A loss won't bother me if I see that they gave an effort but I worry some of the diva's are looking to the future already.

Should things go south early I'm curious to see how the fans in the stands react. Good luck Mike.

Just remember this, we owned Browning;)

Todays game is all about .500

Lose today and it’s over for Mikey

Win today and he’s got a shot if the Ravens rest everyone.

I hope Mason does well. Guy has a stigma attached. Dobbs can get multiple starting shots with multiple teams, yet this poor schlub can't garner ANY interest? Look around the league and see some of these scrubs.

Curious to see if he sucks as bad as every other team believes he does.

How this season has gone and knowing our Steelers they will win 1 more game and it will be at Seattle;)

Even if we were 8-8 going into Baltimore their back-ups probably would play harder then our starters.

Mason is an interesting case. He was never expected to be a star. I'm sure lots of GM's never even thought he could be a starter, but most thought that of Tom Brady too. It makes me wonder, if Mason had ended up with a Kyle Shanahan, for example, what does his career look like?

There's so much luck in life. Opportunities are not all created equal. You need the right opportunity at the right time. Clearly the opportunity he got wasn't right, and being drafted behind Ben was not ideal. Ben openly disagreed with the pick and basically said he wouldn't help groom him.

I've said it before. If Tom Brady was drafted by the NY Jets, do we even know who he is right now, or is he just another late round QB that ended up on a practice squad?

Yeah, Rudolph is playing his NFL future today...If he has a poor game, his NFL career will be over after this year

I think the offense will play harder for Mason than they do Mitch. Just a hunch. Dont think many on that O are a fan of Mitch.

When Mason had his pro day, Tomlin was drooling over him. I think them NOT having a QB coach and Ben refusing to retire killed Masons career. I’m hoping for a big game today. I loved him coming out of OSU.

He had lots of potential, just didn't work out. I don't think today will work out for him either, not in our offence. We'll never know what could have been unless he goes to another team and gets a chance due to injury or something. But if he stays here, I think his career is doomed. We're too inept offensively
