Thought Omar did a good job in past draft!

What an idiot. Probably trying to take heat off of Tomlin.

Jones, Porter, Herbig has all made positive contributions. The player causing the most trouble, Pickens, was drafted by Colbert.

    What a clown.

Yeah, the guy who has been GM for less than a year has totally screwed the team lol Marshall is clueless

If you're going to blame the FO, blame Colbert. His top picks his last 5 drafts have been Pickett (scrub), Najee (meh), Claypool (scrub), Bush (scrub), Edmunds (meh). That's essentially 2 NFL players out of 5. Not good.

Yea, I'd completely blame Colbert before Omar... For instance, the only player left from the 2020 draft is Alex Highsmith and looking back at 19 draft only players remaining are Zach Gentry and Dionte Johnson. 2021 isn't much better with Harris, Muth and Loudermilk being the lone hold outs. Poor drafting really set this team back. I think Khan got us on the right track with the solid draft this past year.

I am not happy with Omar trading Dotson away for a bag a magic bean. A 4th and a 5th, for Dotson and a 5th and a 6th.

Yeah, Khan and Weidl seem to be a good team. Looking forward to see what they do offseason.

In his defence, Dotson wasn't good for us. Now maybe it's because he was playing the left side instead of the right, but that doesn't really matter to a GM. If the coach will only play him on the left side and he can't do it, then he's useless. Dotson may also have struggled with our blocking concepts compared to the Rams. It's very different.

I think the question needs to be asked why wasn't Doston playing more on the right side, rather than why he was traded away.

Starting to see a pattern. Dotson is the 2nd best graded guard in football, and Kendrick Green looked dramatically improved before his injury.

What really bothers me about Dotson is he was a false start and penalty machine for us, but with the Rams, I think he's been flagged once all year?

Could've been because oh him overthinking techniques due to being out of position... It is weird for sure. Some things are definitely not being taught right and that falls on Pat Meyer.

Tomlin wanted him gone due to the penalties.

Faulk was a solid player but he is WAY off here. I mean common!

Guess he is in illusion land with Coach Cliche's riveting word salad and chorus of um's.

What a buffoon. We lose the GM who acquired nearly all of the underperforming players, and the new GM is at fault. Riiiight. Of course the coach has nothing to do with the failure. The head coach, who is responsible for maximizing the performance of the team we do have, is just a victim of the new GM here

If he had blamed Colbert, at least a rational argument could be made. I would still put a big part of the blame on Tomlin, but Colbert is not blameless in all of this either. But Khan?

There's plenty of blame to go around.
The front office owns some it, for sure.
I'd admit that it's a tall order to find talent to fit what Canada described as an offense.
If players drop in the draft, there's usually a reason for it. You can draft those, but you better have your ducks in a row.
I would think this draft, they have to avoid the 'damaged goods' types.
I think the Front Office did a decent job, there's always going to be a miss or two.
My only gripe with them is allowing Canada to remain but I hope a lesson has been learned and the obvious has become the obvious.

All Omar can do is provide the ingredients. It’s up to Chef Tomlin to prepare them and turn them into a savory meal. At this point, everything is undercooked or burnt to a crisp.

So, is it Tomlin’s fault or Colbert’s?

Omar had a good 1st draft and his FA signings were pretty good.

Holcomb and Alexander looked good prior to being hurt.

Semeulo might be the the best lineman on the team at the moment.

Trading away Dotson hurt, but I think coaching staff having him at the wrong guard position might of had something to do with.

Also Dotson was hurt often his time here, he has been healthy for Rams as well.

Some people will go out of their way to look anywhere but at Tomlin.

Who's next? The team doctor? Trainers? Water boys? Wait, I know. The PA announcer!

Sure, I was just wondering. I’ve been reading Tomlin criticisms for a week (most are warranted) but no one had mentioned Colbert, keeping in mind how long he had been there and the players he drafted in the early 2000’s. But the statement I quoted talked about how screwed up he was and how good the new GM is. People seem to speak with a forked tongue when it comes to Tomlin.
