Sorry dude a second time, I just posted this as well. Oops. I got so fired up listening to him at 25 min mark. That's exactly how I feel. If you don't want to put forth the effort and conduct yourself in a way that represents the Steelers culture this isn't the place for you. How the F does Mike Tomlin not get that. He doesn't exude that. Put the fire out and say that in your press conference!! Man when Cowher retired he looked worn out and I get the family situation probably greatly contributed to it. I wish Tomlin had this guys fire. We need a guy just like this to come back and whip this place into shape!!

“One thing that should never be questioned is your effort.”
    -Coach Cowher

Amen! Lack of effort is a character issue, not a maturity issue in spite of what Tomlin says!

AR2 is not Dan Rooney, that's for sure. Not all Rooney's are created equal obviously. Who knows, we may have gone from one of the best ownership groups in the league to one of the worst. If AR2 isn't wiling to hold his staff accountable, then he's just as useless as a guy who interferes far too often.

He wouldn't lost a week in hockey, at any level. I don't know why NBA and NFL players so willingly accept this garbage from their teammates.

He also said he’d put Pickett under center. 80% of their longest runs come from under center.

Please listen, Tomlin, listen and learn grasshopper.

Tomlin literally said he doesn't think there's a difference between shotgun and under center. If he doesn't think that, why say it? I know people claim he says a lot of things he doesn't believe, but that seems like an odd statement to make if you don't actually believe it.

I've been begging for kenny to be under center all year. Our running game and PA would improve significantly.

Don’t really know with Tomlin but I do think there is some truth to that. He said something about Pickens which was interesting, he said how he deals with you guys (press) isn’t how he deals with us. That would make sense if he learns that from Tomlin.

So Tomlin has stuck his neck way out there for Pickins. Wonder why? I hope Mason has a real good day without having to rely on George. But if things turn out the same as usual for the Steelers and Pickins falls into his slacker ways. Tomlin could have more than egg on his face.

Especially if you are not predictable!

Like just for this year it was a run for like 70% of the time under center for the steelers!

Man, right there is a mouth full of knowledge.
Pickett behind center instantly puts Najee in a far and away better position and by default Warren.
I also like Pickett under center as he seems to do better from there. Maybe because the run works better.

    Cowher is smack on.

Tomorrow going to be one nasty day for Tomlin. Pretty sure the fans in the stadium will not have the Christmas spirit of kindness toward him. If we get smoked early it's going to be nasty in HEINZ.

I think that was a direct response from a question/comment from a media member. He says things to **** with them.

The problem is the offensive line is so bad at pass blocking that you’d actually be cutting his time to throw from 1.5 seconds to 0.5 seconds.

Maybe the run game will delay that rush some.
    Oh yeah, blocking... foiled again.
