Tomlin Big Talker No Action

Let's see if he lives in his fears or not.

If he actually puts action to change he would bench the following players -

Mitch Trubiscky - Cut after season
George Pickens - Trade after season
Dionte Johnson - Trade after season
Mason Cole - Cut after season
Dan Moore - Cut after season
Pat Friermuth (poor effort in blocking, selfish player)
Patrick Peterson - Cut after season
Levi Wallace - Cut after season
Highsmith - Has been underperforming last 6 weeks
Larry Ogunjobi - Terrible - is not playing up to his salary. Cut after the season!!!
Najee Harris - Trade after season.

I highly doubt one of these changes will happen and that is the very reason why Tomlin has lost the locker room - no accountability.

 

If we got rid of all those players (which I agree with) who the hell will play for us?? We'd go 1-16 unless we had an amazing draft top to bottom.

 

Obviously I am exaggerating to get a point across. You bench a couple of those players and I am certain a couple others would wise up and improve. You trade some of them and absolutely cut the ones on bad contracts like Ogunjobi and DJ and use that money to bring in better free agents. Once the difference between 1-16 and 7-10 with alot of those 7 wins being luck anyway? The bottom line is for any of these players to make it to this level they are all the top 1% of the 1% athletically. There are outliers like Minkah and Watt who are freaks but it really does come down to coaching. We don’t have it.
