You have the worse offense in the NFL and you elect to receive opening kickoff?

He's smarter than all the other dummies that just defer every time. Same reason he punts instead of a 56 yard FG indoors. You just wouldn't understand, because you don't have the genius gut instinct Mikey T has perfected over the years.

I still maintain he elected to take opening kickoff because he didn't want to get his linebackers exposed too early. TEs had been feasting on them the two previous weeks. The hope I think was that the offense would sustain drives, keep the defense off the field, and make adjustments as needed coming out the second half with the game still winnable . Unfortunately offense was what it has been throughout the entire year. Too many three and outs and then you had multiple turnovers. You had your starting safeties go down eventually and the wheels really started to come off. Mistake not going for that fg though.

I would like to hear from Boswell on this.

Kickers always practice before the game, so he should have had an idea what his range was in Indy today. Did Tomlin ask Boswell if he could make it, or maybe seeing Boswell miss that extra point did Tomlin just know that Boswell did not bring his A-Game to Indy.

When a blind horse is all you have, you roll with it. While the sample îs very limited, we saw what Mason was capable of today and it’s not pretty

Who care about that...When this is possible to make a one possession game, you take the FG inteast of the punt!

I'd rather see Boswell miss the FG than to punt in this situation!

He make a 56 yards FG the week before in Pittsbugh...This decision vs colts make no sense

So we're in a fight for a playoff spot, Tomlin comes out sporting a new sweater. Honestly Didn't catch what that was all about. Must be some new NFL promo , I guess.

Same for me. We headed out up 13-7 and headed to a Christmas party with all Eagle fans. Thankfully it was a huge house and I hid in a little room where no one came in. I could here them talking crap on the Steelers.

I don't fully understand this "woke" stuff but I heard guys say that is what it was about. I was hoping it was a message to the referees to be fair;)

especially at an indoor stadium. The cherry on top was the horrible punt.

He's never been able to manage the game or the clock. Got 17 years in somehow, max of 5 anywhere else.

    He loves Harris.

Makes no sense with some of his decisions then punts when it should of been a field goal try from 57 yards out in a dome with no wind.

The first thing they should have asked at the presser is What’s up with the shirt? Why no Steelers logo? Looks like he’s pushing some sort of agenda instead of guiding a team.

    "Everything;s on the table"

Of course it is Mike that's why you've been running the same tired old **** for a deacde, nothing is ever on the table until it's waaaayyyy too late, or a change is forced because maintaining the current status quo is untenable - see Matt Canada.

Yes, it will. Damn near the entire city will turn on Artie II, too. We must turn up the public pressure on Artie, because he is slowly & methodically destroying the foundation of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He should not be threatened or harmed or any of that stuff, but he should be spoken about negatively in public, especially on the air waves, the press, and in-person. Send a brief letter to the front office, call the front offices, visit the front offices, etc. and express your displeasure....LEGALLY!

Next Saturday, those in attendance have a "meeting" with Artie Jr., and it's time to roll...hopefully, the crowd will do their thing for Artie - TOGETHER! We must hold him accountable, I'm serious. He's changed the MISSION STATEMENT of the Steelers from "Winning Championships" to "Having Non-Losing seasons", and he must correct his mistake! If he doesn't or he doesn't care or what have you, then turn him into a man without a city!

Kickers miss kicks sometimes, including extra points, it happens. Doesn't mean they're off their game. There's also no way that Tomlin asked Boz if he could make it and Boz said no. No pro athlete is going to say no in that situation. That is not how athletes are built.

I wouldn't expect him to have the answers. He's not a tactician. Never has been. When cliches and hard work during practice don't work, he has no idea what to do. He's not a particularly bright coach, never has been.
