You do realize that we are average at the OL. Hell 49ers have a worse OL. Dude CJ Stroud is playing with backups.

Sorry, no I don't realize that. Not sure what criteria anyone has to compare one Oline to another to judge good versus average versus bad. I'm just going by my eyes watching this Oline fail consistently in pass pro. I don't watch a lot of other Olines, so maybe there are a lot of bad units, but I constantly see Steelers linemen missing assignments, getting beat and failed blitz pickups.

You do, but also the Coach needs to set a high standard of accountability by let's say demanding Ben put more work in to get better, you don't allow players in the locker room to stream to their social media after a playoff loss, etc. Hold the DC to develop a better game plan vs Brady when the zone would get killed every time you played against the guy, etc etc. No doubt Ben coasted on his talent and to me never worked as hard like Brady did. Jeez even Emanuel Sanders said he was not the leader Peyton was. But Tomlin is the head coach responsible for all, that's how it goes in that job.

Oline isn't the problem. They're not a strength, but not a glaring weakness either. Ben played with some olines way worse during his career and still thrived. Our QB's aren't good at picking up blitzes and this garbage vanilla offense installed by Canada isn't helping either

Lots of problems with the Steelers.

Lack of maturity and control on many players, especially the offense. How many times have a poorly timed celebrations, loss of temper, poor situational awareness, or something of the like given us a penalty at a point in the game where we least need the penalty?

Lack of preparation by the team. I lay this squarely on coaching. How many games against an 'easy' opponent have we lost because we did not properly prep for in the last few years? It is a common joke in our house how the teams we fear are not the #1s, they are the #32s. They always seem to get an upset against us. That is a coaching issue IMO.

Our O line sucks and has for a good number of years. It needs some serious attention.

Our QB situation......I still don't know if KP is the guy or not the guy. I think that he has suffered from bad coaching and a bad O line. They have hindered his development I think. Would he be a future hall of famer with good coaching? I don't know. But I really do think that he would be better if he was not running for his life, had benefitted from a better OC, and if the team's plan was built around his abilities rather than an OC's vision from a dream while in high school.

Our coaching staff needs new blood and new ideas. We can't keep pulling our coaches from within. They have all grown up under the coaching tree that is not producing the results we seek.

Good pieces, terrible coaching. It's been this way for a decade.

Tomlin is light years away from an Andy Reid led team, or even Sean Mcvay. I have no idea what he brings to the table any more, and by the look of him neither does he.

The Steelers look like an organisation that knows what it should do but is running away from doing it, finding every possible excuse for continuing to wrap themselves in the comfort blanket of not having to make a decision, and face criticism for firing, or not extending Mike Tomlin.

It's just wilful ignorance and a failure to accept reality, like if you've ever fallen down drunk in the snow and pissed yourself, it feels warm and kinda nice, but you've still pissed yourself.

That's the Pittsburgh Steelers right now, face down in the snow but with a slightly warm crotch.

Comparisons mean nothing to me. I only have concerns for the Steelers situation.

They need to upgrade the center position first and foremost and then the right tackle position.

You move Jones to Left Tackle where he belongs.

Moore will be the swing for his last year here.

And you gut the Offensive coaching staff and bring in an Innovative Coordinator who brings in their own assistant coaches.

If Tomlin is still here he has very little authority in the hiring of the new coordinator. If he balks he can go to.

Sorry, but that comment always makes Me laugh. Without me sounding mean.....how do You gage your team , or any player Without comparisons. LoL.
You just grab a player in a void, and say ......I don't care how He compares??? The whole dang thing is set up on comparisons, but if its not what You want to hear....You don't care about comparisons ???
Hell most Tomlin post, playoff drought, and so on is comparisons.
Hell just playing the game is a form of comparisons.

    Team ownership screwed up,

didn’t keep the right weapons around for Big Ben towards the end of his career

Also didn’t do well transitioning into a successor at QB , what the hell was the point of keeping rudolf all theses years???

Agreed. The stupidest was that they did *all* of the following in a span of 3 months:

    1. Kept Rudolf
    2. Signed Trubisky
    3. Drafted Pickett
    4. Drafted some other dude after having signed the above 3!

Two years later, and all they've done is get rid of the dude from #4 in the list, and Rudolf hasn't played a down, and Pickett and Trubisky have played worst than Rudolf ever did.

    That deserves a
