No, Rudolph took a jab at the coaching staff last season and that probably didn't help him when he hit free agency, so he is keeping his mouth shut this season. I don't doubt his toughness. I doubt his ability to throw a sideline route or make a good decision under pressure, but not his toughness.

I'm not sure if Trubisky's decision on that run was gutless or stupid. I thought it was gutless, but someone posted that he signaled first down, so maybe he was just too stupid to realize how far he had to go. Either way, it was an egregious error that Pickett wouldn't have made.

Here we are still arguing about the 3 jv qbs we got. This is hilarious and sad at the same time!

I wonder what would have happened if the Steelers dratfed Purdy over Oladokum. My guess up is he would have been cut as well. We have Kenny, the budding superstar. Mitch, the guy who learned so much from Josh Allen, and Mason, the 1st round grade. Be the camp arm throwing to jabronis, Mr Irrelevant! Tell yur grandkids that you was once a Pixburgh Stiller,

A jab is understandable given his demotion. Trubisky certainly took his shot at the organization after he was benched for KP. As far as performance and hitting certain routes somehow Mason has better stats with the Steelers than Mitch. Let’s see what Mitch does against the colts - if he continues where he left off he’s probably going to be benched and MR starts in the second half. We’ll see what happens.

I don’t have any faith in Mitch, I’m frankly amazed the bears got anything out of him

I wanted Mason. A road trip could be a good thing for this team. Cant get any worse ! lol

Minshew and Bubby Trubisky running and throwing every which way. Should be fun game.

The definition of insanity. Doing the same thing with turnover Mitch and expecting a different result. Mitch looks scared to death to make a decks and when he does, it is usually bad for us and a turnover for the d. Fourth and two play was pathetic. I would rather call back a vet like Ryan who could poss have a decent game because Mitch has not had one in his entire time here

I have him sling it 60 times. This team isn't going anywhere so we might as well lose the next four.

Why is the jab understandable? Practice better. Play better. Hell, I would have respected him more of he ripped the coaching staff for not giving him enough opportunities rather than that whiny, subtle crap he pulled. The coaches didn't wrong him by putting him where he belonged during games, on the sideline.

With Trubisky in Chicago,I think it was more a matter of the Bears ruining a guy who had some ability. I would have had no problem if the Steelers yanked him against the Patriots. I would have no problem if they decided to go with Rudolph against the Colts. I don't think either guy is good. Maybe you get lucky and catch a bad quarterback on a good day. The good version of Trubisky will hit some tough intermediate throws and make some plays with his athleticism. The good version of Rudolph will hit a couple of deep balls and a lot of short stuff. Meh.

Rudolph's preseasons were just as good if not better than Mitch's. That's why i excuse any jab. Trubisky is shot mentally, he's had plenty of chances, i give him one more half before he's pulled. For decision making on the field MR's got the edge. They have to overhaul the whole QB room in the offseason anyway, to go along with a new coaching staff.

Rudolph was playing against third and fourth stringers. Trubisky was playing against starters. I'm not sure why that concept is so difficult for so many people on this board.

Rudolph hasn't shown much ability to make good decisions. Or handle pressure. Or make intermediate throws. Or longer ones to the sideline. But hey, sometimes he throws a pretty deep ball.

KP was playing against starters and a few backups. Mitch was playing against mostly backups and a few third stringers. Also, MR had the benefit of playing behind a Walmart worker's line so it kind of even's out. Whatever you may think of MR Mitch has been very bad and the offense needs to move the chains and score points so if they want to win they got to go with the guy with the better stats and the only other active QB available - by halftime is my guess if Mitch continues on his roll.

No, that isn't accurate. Trubisky faced starters in the preaseason, too, last year. Rudolph did not. Rudolph does not have better stats unless you pick and choose which statistics you want to use rather than looking at all of them.

Trubisky hasn't been good overall the last two seasons, but outside of preseason, Rudolph hasn't played at all. The last meaningful playing time he got was in 2021, before Trubisky was even a Steeler.

I keep hearing this, but Mason has the most tds, and least ints in a season as a Steeler, and Has the longest run as Qb for the Steelers out of all the Qbs.

More sticking up for your love Trubisky. LoL. Enough so You lie about Him being behind in a game. The man sucks game after game , trys throwing multiple ints, and all You can do is stick up for Him. Lame....with a capital L.
What I know is this. He has a terrible win loss record here, he has lost every game He has been in this year, and He was the Qb of two of the Steelers worst losses in many years, but yeah He's not the problem. LoL. What a joke.

The qualifier "as a Steeler" is how you get around looking at all of the numbers, but you know that.

Stupid. Yeah I should just look at what He did over 3 years ago, and forget everything He's done here. How dumb is that??? I'm sure You and the rest of the Trubisky lovers will make a long winded post about what He did in Chicago helps us here....two teams later, amd 3 years later. LAME. LoL

I didn't lie. I did make a mistake. Unlike you, I can admit when that happens.

Love for Trubisky? LOL Even funnier is you falsely claiming that all I do is stick up for Trubisky even though I called for them to bench him during the last game and criticized his play even after he improved a little in the second half. I know, overall, he has been better than Rudolph, but I have no particular fondness for either guy. I root for whichever one takes the snaps until Pickett returns because they are Steelers, but that's as far as it goes.

Blaming him for the loss to the Cardinals is just more evidence that you cannot think clearly where he is concerned. He took one snap with the game tied, on which he did his job, but the line did not, then the defense gave up a 99-yard drive. He certainly wasn't good, but he didn't make the defense fall apart and he didn't make Cole forget how to execute a shotgun snap.

Trubisky is part of the problem and he sucked right along with everyone else against the Patriots, but the defense failed in both of those games. I'm sorry you are too lost in your hate to see it.
