    Tomlins presser:

Minka broke his hand was casted up during the first delay. Probably why Conner was able to run better after the breaks.

Watt ankle, no surprise they let him get mugged every play. Something is going to give.

Roberts out. Another week where the green dot goes out and the opposition is able to take advantage.

EDIT: Roberts goes down right before they get off that 99 yard drive. He gets the stop on 2nd down. The one they went to the damn TE 5 times!

Didn’t Myles Jack wear the green dot last year? I’m guessing we’ll see that again on Thursday. What a disaster of a day this was.

Minka, Watt, Pickett and Roberts hurt? That’s one costly loss

I didn't add in Seumalo with the shoulder either. That hurt, but Herbig stepped in and was bulldozing people in the run game.

Fitzpatrick is going to be limited as he plays through the broken hand. Watt looked like he couldn't move worth a damn on that ankle, so even if he plays, he probably won't be his usual self Thursday.

The loss of Roberts is just a killer. The defense fell apart when he got hurt. They had three good inside linebackers when the season started and they are all gone. I imagine Roberts will be out for a while.

I guess I don't understand how that held the Steelers to 3 points in the 1st half. Pickett got hurt but the Steelers hadn't done anything offensive of any real production with him to that point.

The problem with the injuries are the wrong guys are getting injured. Perhaps Mason Cole could get hurt instead.

Tomlin said he didn't know the extent of the injury. Huh? it's an ankle. Is it sprained? Broken? Tney would have know rignt away. I bet he's 100% out but he won't say it to make the Patriots prepare for him.

    Per Shefter.
Steelers’ QB Kenny Pickett’s ankle injury is expected to sideline him “a couple of weeks”, per league source.

The Steelers host the Patriots on Thursday night, and Mitch Trubisky now is expected to be the starter.

Pickett is made of glass, always hurt in some form.

With ILBs dropping like flies the past month, I don’t know why we didn’t kick the tire with Shaq (Darius) Leonard.

It’s amazing how QB’s of the past were always getting beat down like ragdolls but somehow still found a way to get back on the field and play through the pain. Now most of the QB’s are fragile beyond belief.

The OL is garbage, King Kong would get injured playing behind those pylons.

Eagles signed Leonard so they are willing to kick his tires. That might have been a miss for us but then again where are we going anyway!
