I heard on the radio that one of the playoff games is on Peacock. Not NBC and Peacock……just Peacock. They are trying to squeeze every last dollar out of all of us. I assume it’s one of the first wildcard games so that could be us.

Kinda crazy finding where a game is airing nowadays. Is it Network? Sport Channel? Some crazy cable channel that’s based in some teams hometown?
Now the latest is some pay as you go channel that you wouldn’t think of for live sporting

NBCUniversal and the NFL announced that the Peacock-exclusive Wild Card game will take place on Saturday Jan 13, 2024. The game will start immediately after another Wild Card game that will be LIVE on both NBC and Peacock. That’s not even the last Wild Card game available to Peacock subscribers. You’ll also be able to watch the Sunday primetime game on Peacock and NBC. This will be the first time one network has three Playoff games in a single weekend.

 

I don't have it, either. I don't know anyone that does. I've got Prime and ESPN+. Have no intention on getting aother one.

If the Steelers make the playoffs I know now that it will be that Peacock only game that we will get screwed with. My only hope is that it will be shown on good old channel 11 here locally.

 

If the Steelers are in it there is a good chance it may be on 11

On the other hand was the Thursday night Amazon game on local TV

 

I live where Butler, Mercer and Lawrence counties all meet. Our house is about a mile into Mercer county so Armstrong cable has our local channels coming from Youngstown that carries the Browns game. So I had to buy an old fashioned outside TV antenna to pick up Pittsburgh's local channels just so I could watch the Steelers game.

 

When I let my dogs loose they can cover 3 counties (Butler Lawrence Beaver) and barely leave my property

 

If the local market team is playing it will be on a local network. If you are out of market....sub to the cock.

 

We had a Newfoundland that was stolen by one of the construction workers that was building a new house beside ours. He must have escaped and we got a call from someone that lived near Butler Hospital over 25 miles away that they found our dog and called our number on his dog tag. We were getting ready to go get him when they called again and said he broke loose and ran away. 3 days later he came walking into our yard exhausted but overall in pretty good health. It was 18 days from the time he was dognapped until he made his way home.

 

I put a GPS ( he had been abused and I wanted to be able to find him) on a stray I took in who is allowed to free range

He could be 5 miles away and still home that night
