I would love SF but I don’t think everyone can duplicate that. I just don’t see us bringing in the proper coaches to make it work.

I think we are much closer to running a system like Philly has.

Kevin Patullo (Eagles Pass Game Coordinator)
    Klint Kubiak (49ers Pass GameCoordinator)
Darrell Beville (Dolphins QB Coach/Pass Game Coordinator)

    That's my short list.

Wished we did this last off season and nabbed either Joe Brady or Eric Biennemy

I Would prefer any type of Offensive scheme in which our QB can read a zone defense.

I honestly think that if we are truly going to change things up, we do so with Ben Johnson at the helm of the team. He's coached under a guy I respect wildly in Dan Campbell, and he runs a system that turned Jared Goff back into a high end QB. Let him determine what we are doing offensively and who to hire. He can and likely will defer to a strong established defensive coordinator to run that side of the ball.

If we ran a "Philly" system, we likely do so with Jayden Daniels at QB. He is a perfect fit for that.

What are these "1st downs" and "points" you speak of. As a Steelers fan, they sound vaguely familiar, but I can't seem to remember these things.

I think most offensive systems run in the NFL today blend some to some degree.

That said, I want to some one who will:
    • Innovate
    • Tailor the offense around what we have
    • Build around from the OL on up
Honestly, I'd still pick someone from the Kyle Shanahan tree. I don't know about the Philadelphia offense. Nick Sirianni an has obscene amount talent at the skill positions.

Whatever change happens, I would like to hear those who comment on our new offensive scheme say about it "they mix it up very well" instead of what they say now, "it`s very predictable."

I want to see seam routes to the tight end, going deep off of play action, using motion to get guys open, more misdirection plays, quick slants against the blitz. More sets with both Warren and Harris in together. Seems like the RBs always motion in to pass protect, how about we motion them out late and run some wheel routes?

I'd prefer an offensive system that the NFL wants to emulate as opposed to us copying a different system. And to contradict myself here, because it's not going to happen, gimme Klint Kubiak from SF. He has experience in developing QBs and has a system that's the most effective in the league right now.

If we go the “Philly” path with a guy like Daniels, we’d probably want to go all-in on a similar style of QB in our QB room to ensure that our backups can run the same scheme because there’s a good chance that the starter will miss some games. I really like Daniels as a college QB, but I’ve only watched him playing on live TV. I still have to watch tape and develop an opinion on how well his game would translate to the NFL. He is an electrifying player though.

STD would need therapy if we did that.

I'd cover his first few sessions just out of pity, because he'd have a conniption lol In this instance I probably spend on a Dobbs type back up and be fine with the minor injuries here and there. Hurts has manages to stay completely healthy in his career, so there is no guarantee that he'd go down but you have to have a good insurance policy.

I'm sure Daniels game translates similarly to most guys of his style. Gonna have to develop his progressions/reads, but he does throw with really nice touch... something I see very little of at the college ranks. With our running game hopefully being dominated by Warren in the future, I could see defenses having a really hard time dealing with the speed we would have. Daniels, Warren, DJ/Pickens/Austin... We would at least be fun to watch offensively

Daniels is under 200 lbs. at 6’4”. Not a deal breaker, but he may be more susceptible to bodily wear and tear over the course of a season from being tackled than someone like Hurts or Allen who have bulk. He would need to be a lot more selective about when to push for extra yards and learn how to slide.

    Run it, Throw it, whatever

Just attempt to get this team to score like 25 points instead of 10 to 14.

Just an extra TD and one extra FG a game will go along way.

That aren't going to magically start scoring over 30 every game, its not happening with what they currently have personnel wise.
