They were losing the locker room !!! Its the only reason they made a move like this. Last time they did something like this was 1941!!!!

Gerry Dulac saying that Rooney made the choice to fire Canada.

Sounds like he over ruled Tomlin and had seen enough.

I don’t think Pickett is definitely safe. With a new guy coming in, possibly Leftwich according to Ben, may go in a different direction. People are melting down and were over both of them.

I haven't been this excited after a loss in a long time. Should have happened a month ago during the bye week

Now they can see how zoickett does. No more excuses for Pickett. This is evaluation period. Says a lot. To me it means they are speeding up the process with KP.

    yep

but we will see that Kenny STILL cannot read a D, STILL cannot throw accurately and that the OLINE is STILL soft.

not much will change, sorry to tell you all.....

Finally. He's been horrible since the day he started, and I still believe, while Ben was aging and not as good as he was when he was younger, that Canada brough Ben down several notches due to bad schemes.

Change had to be made, because the offense was becoming a punchline to a joke, superbad,

    Feeling relieved

That's the end of Canada's NFL career. He'll never get another shot. He might be the worst OC in the history of the league.
How bad were things behind the scenes to make Pittsburgh do this mid-season?

I don't expect this to magically fix things. That's not how it works, but I'm relieved that they're at least trying. They're taking a step in the right direction. I can get on board with a mediocre team trying to get better. I can't get on board with a mediocre team refusing to try to change due to arrogance.
