Yeah, QB is absolutely the most important position on the field. It's why they get paid the most. If you look at the playoff picture the NFC has only teams that have good QB play in the top 7 (Vikings had Cousins, but he got hurt. Dobbs filling in nicely but he's not a high end guy). AFC has only us and the Browns currently in the picture without top QB play, but both have done so entirely with defense and winning close games. The Browns lead the NFL in fewest yards allowed and allow 19ppg, and we lead the NFL in turnovers and allow 20ppg (17.4ppg in games we have been blown out in).

Only one between us and the Browns will make the playoffs IMO, so Sunday's game is super important.

I know family can make things bad for the players (see Lavar Ball), but generally speaking where there is smoke... there's fire. He certainly wont be getting any ownership (as you mention regarding league policy), and I also agree his draft stock is probably still very high despite a less successful season than last for him. I don't see him as the can't miss prospect that others do, so what do I know anyways? The only QB's in recent years that I have thought were can't miss were Burrow and Stroud. There's almost always a lot of risk involved.

We only get to see the players on Sunday, and after two years, I wonder what the coaches have been up to. Is it that KP has reached his ceiling and is stuck and they can't help him, or do the coaches not have the skills to train him up? I suppose it is possible they game plan to his strengths, and that is why we see what we do, but that doesn't explain his fourth quarter comebacks where he looks like a top QB. If it is consistency, you'd think coaches could help with that. Maybe he needs a sport psychologist. I think he still has promise.
