    Very humble. Said he hate for the ones that went down and was going to reach out to them to learn.

    He played CB as well. And he feels his strength is being a ball hawk.

    The difference is that Murray is being signed off the street. Artie Burns was a first round draft pick.

    I want to see Murray play well, but when you sign a guy working at Amazon to play for you, it's understood that you probably won't be getting a Pro Bowl player. :smiley1:

    There are certainly different levels of expectation in regard to performance. That said, I hope Murray plays well and can help the team.

    Remember that guy they signed off the street after Shazier was injured? He didn’t pan out too well. Hope this guy fares better.

    Sean Spence? He was actually a former 3rd round pick for us a few years before he came back to fill in for Shazier. And yeah, it didn’t pan out well at all.

    a horrible signing. guy had been out of the league for a year bagging groceries and this is who we brought in.....and he sucked when HE WAS here!

    unfortunately, in November, trying to find an impact LB is darn near IMPOSSIBLE.

    Maybe you should do a little reading. Spences time with the Steelers was riddled with injuries, including a major one in the preseason of his rookie season.

    Absolutely, there was.

    The problem is that when you say that, everyone knows the one guy you are talking about. It happens almost never.

    I want the guy to be great, but it's like hitting the lottery.

    His injury was in the preseason of his rookie season. The Steelers, and Spence, never got to see what he could have been.
