Yeah I have ZERO sympathy for the Pats. Between the cheating and deflating, and Brady just being a d*uche.... I hope they are cellar dwellers for a decade.

Bengals I hate because I dislike their Marvin Lewis teams more than any other. They were just dirty for the sake of being dirty. They wanted that Steelers/Ravens style rivalry but couldn't quite gain the respect.

Ravens I respect immensely despite hating them. They run their team well, generally have great players, and are really a carbon copy of the Steelers success. Still, eff them, but we look in the mirror and see each other, just in a different colored uni.

Cleveland... I hate them because I live in Columbus, Ohio and I know a lot of Browns fans. Generally a VERY low football IQ fanbase and EXTREMELY obnoxious. They're insufferable when the team is bad, and doubly so when they are actually somewhat competitive. I've always said the Browns fanbase is the most loyal bunch in all of sports... but there isn't a fanbase that deserves a loser more than Cleveland.

 

If you think that is bad, look at his dead cap hit if they cut him in any of the next couple years.... They can't get rid of him until after the 2026 season. Its impossible.

Well, bad karma against the Browns sure- have they ever had any good karma? but for Watson? He's got over 200 million coming guaranteed. He can afford to buy an island somewhere and go off and hide.

This lunacy of this deal seemed apparent at the time- remember they gave up a bunch of draft picks as well- but now, wow. The irony though is that the Browns QB situation might actually get better without him on the field.

Speaking of karma, this also seems to be another bit of good fortune bouncing the Steelers way in a season where they've had more than their share.

 

I actually feel for the Browns fans. They can't catch a break.

Yeah, I guess so. But being the Browns, they soon will surely do some other stupid thing that I can mock. I do admit that they have their work cut out for them to exceed the stupidity of the Watson contract.

 

I envy you a little. I live in the fandom of a very good NFC team. Being a Steeler fan among the Cleveland faithful had to be enjoyable most the time. Ben owned that whole State. I too, always respected the Ravens. Great battles in Ben's early years. Now as for the Pats, it will take me years to get over them. As a Pirate fan I hated the city of Atlanta for a good 20 years.

 

Yeah, it has been really nice. Especially when a lot of friends of mine are Browns fans. Left a lot of smack talk to be had for sure (and Browns fans will smack talk you at 2-14 just as hard as they would if they were a playoff team).

 

So who do we want tonight? I want the Bungles to win and maybe they will be less hungry when we play them.

A long time ago, I knew a girl who was so beautiful that the room got silent when she walked in. I had a serious thing for her, but she was not going to give me the time of day, and was pretty smug about it too.
Time passed, like decades of time. She married and divorced several times, had a bad drinking problem, and when I saw her for the first time in a long time, she had aged like milk accidentally left in the car. I didn’t even recognize her. Instead of any feeling that she got what she deserved, I only felt pity and wondered why I had ever been fascinated with her in the first place.
That is kind of a long story, but it is how I feel when I look at what the Cheatriots have become. To put it bluntly, they are so reduced from what they were that I can’t even hate them any more.

 

I think fans are pretty much the same everywhere. If you go on other talk forums you'll see them all saying the same things when their team loses. Fire the HC, fire the OC, fire the QB, fire the water boy, ect.

 

So back to the story....did You......You know.....just for old times sake???
