The Steelers beat the Titans because we scored TDs and held them to FGs. Both teams scored 4 times.

 

The difference was the fourth quarter QB play. Kenny did what he always does, plays top notch when the game is on the line. Levis shows a lot of potential but in his last drive that could have won the game he threw 2 picks that were dropped before finally throwing the 3rd one that was caught.

 

But the head to head tiebreaker vs the 49ers will not be applicable in the AFC playoff standings. Any and all playoff tiebreakers for the Steelers will be against other AFC teams.

 

We have far more talent on this roster than most teams have. We have the best pass rushing duo in the league, one of which is a former DPOY the other will be a Pro Bowler/All Pro himself. Former All Pros at DE and FS, some really talented WR's, one of the best K's in the league, and a young T and CB to be excited about. If this team doesn't have much talent, there may be 3 talented teams in the whole league.

We've been spoiled for sure with some really talented teams in the past. But it just goes to show how a good QB play can make a mediocre team look talented and poor QB play can make a talented team look mediocre.

 

If Kenny would've played like he is capable for the whole game and not just the 4th quarter, we would have blown them out.

 

well that goes inline with the team concept. i could care less if the defense wins every game for us.

Yeah, well, we started off a few seasons, where we frittered away wins, then we had to dig out of a huge hole. So a couple went our way this time. Good. Now if we start to gel, we can do it from a better position.

 

Credit to the Steelers defense? Levis had 4 TD passes against Atlanta, but none against the Steelers.

 

Another typical roller coaster ride will define this season. All we can do is hope it stops on cloud 9.

 

5-3! One more win and we’re bowl eligible! Isn’t that what we’ve been building for?

 

The Steelers winning is one type of winning.

Keep it close, because if it gets out of hand, they can't produce enough offense scoring to come back.

Make bunch of sacks and turnovers, bend but don't break defense, make them get FG's not touchdowns,

Never ever turn the ball over of offense, because they can't over come that.

Keep it close, win it at the end.

When the Steelers lose, they lose bad, when they win they win close.

If they offense ever comes to complete life, they could be a team to fear by more teams.

But 1/2 way into it, probably not coming around this year.
