Hell at this point I'd take a Duck Hodges offense over a Trubisky offense. Anytime the ball leaves his hand it's a multiple choice of...

A. Incomplete
B. A 3 yard dump off
C. Picked off
D. Picked off for a big return

I mean Rudy might not take us to the playoffs but at least I can still have a small amount of hope that we can win a game!

But also, Mitch's rating with the Steelers is less than that Rudolph's now. So "way worse?" You're incorrect. They both are awful options and they need to figure out everything on the offense next year, but Mr. Trubisky needs to go ASAP.

I would take Mason over Mitch. Mitch is supposed to be that QB that has a similar style to KP8. However, if it is just more of the same in Canada's offense, then what is the sense. Put in Mason for the change of pace.

It’s not something worth lobbying for.

 

Mason has showed promise when given time. After his injury, he was horrendous. Did he come back too quickly? Can he return to pre injury promise that he showed? He has better arm strength than Pickett. The options are not that great. I think giving Mason a chance at least provides some hope. Trubinsky is proven to be horrible. Pickett is not it.

We should have gotten rid of both of them before the season started and gotten Menshew or Heineke but this is an inept organization from top to bottom so of course they resigned two guys who have ZERO desire to do anything more than what is necessary to keep cashing the checks.

 

Yeah really. You just know when trubisky comes in he's not going to get it done. At least with Rudolph you don't know. He might. Like Roethlisberger says, just put Mason in.

 

Tomlin should start MR but won`t because it will rock his boat. Trubisky will have a short leash, you can believe that. We will see MR late in 2nd after a int. I would like to see MR get 1 more shot and just ball out.

Imagine being so bad at Qb that they have to draft a guy and sign the guy above to play ahead of you. That's what Rudolph is. I'd rather not see #2 taking snaps in a Steelers uniform. It was putrid before, it wont be getting any better this time around.

 

He threw a TD pass, which is something that Kenny wasn't able to do.... Trubisky is a back up for a reason, Mason is 3rd for the same reason. They are where they are supposed to be.
