The past two years Ben really
has not pulled out wins for us in the waning
seconds of games like he had done so brilliantly
through out his career up to this point. Has all the hits
started to take its toll? Will he always be the high risk
taker, sandlot style qb he is? We need him to win games for us
unfortunatley the past two years he has not. I thought for sure he
would rise to the occasion yesterday and lead us to a victory.
He did not, this is why you get the 102 Ben, as coach cliche
says better get back in the LAB. Your legacy is dependant on
winning these games for our inept play calling and offensive strategy.

Ben is like Favre, one minute you love him for the crazy **** he does on the field, the next you curse him for a stupid turnover :D

I've always been a fan of his but his biggest fault is his ego.

If he would just dedicate himself to improving his study of the game and quick reads with check downs he can be and will be clutch again.

The Ben and Haley relationship is probably like the NYC cop that offered a pair of boots to that homeless guy that really didn't want them.

    His brain is hurt.

Here is another writer who apparently isn't drinking the Ben is elite kool aid: http://www.steelers.com/news/articl...-Bengals/cdefbed0-23c1-4461-b2f8-061e1c1f5c01

Does anyone remember a few years back right after Ben's second rape accusation? There were alot of grumblings coming out of his hometown of Findlay Ohio, (nice town about an hour south of Toledo). Lot of his hometown backers were all of a sudden questioning the local boys character. Well Ben must of took offense because on a network night game (forget which one), you know where they have the players announce their name and either their college or hometown, well Ben being the classy individual that he is said he was from Cory Rawson. For those of you that don't know, Cory Rawson is not a town, but a grade school that Ben attended. He disowned his hometown. When I heard him say that I knew then and there that he was a jack off. He now, after all this time is finally getting called out for his pitiful performances. Wonder if he'll turn on the Steelers like he did his hometown. Merry Christmas Ben lovers:lolol:

Hey back in 2005/2008 he had receivers who caught the ball and actually held on to it and didn't fumble.

This year, Steelers missed what Ward used to bring to the table, big time

    Would you rather:

Cocky and arrogant Ben. Single. Partying. Full of confidence. Winning Super Bowls.
    or
Family man Ben. Husband. Father. Quieter. Better teammate. Losing.

Many denounced Ben's behavior, but you know what, we were winning. Ben has changed over the past 2 seasons. That is evident. Can you live with his losing but feel better about him as he transitions to being a family man?

Here's hoping he can be a family man and win super bowls.

there was no magic for the entire team this season not just Ben.

there were this close on so many plays and games, but they were just not getting it done.

Up until Ben got hurt, he was in the running for MVP of the year. The guy was accurate, next to no picks, #1 3rd down conversion in the league, QB rating was high. After the injury and the birth of his son, he appeared to be disappear.

Like it or not and flame me if you want but think about this. Fumbles were contagious, receivers couldnt catch the ball, running game was no where to be found, youre losing by less than 3 points, losing to the worst teams in the league, your coaches have no control, and you have Steeler Nation calling for your heads. The only guy on the offense who is playing well is you and you get frustrated. He made 2 bad passes at the worst possible moment bc he was desperate. The guys a competitor and he knows the team shouldnt be losing.

OR his wife told him he was changing diapers after the season AND Dec 30th better be the last game. :hmmm::roflmao:

Or Neil O'donnell put him in contact with some people who play good money not to win. (thats a joke for you that have a stick up your ass)
