The last three really make my heart bleed cause I love them, but imo what they bring over the course of a season is not worth the money they make.

Why would they bring back Hampton he's too fat and makes too much money the team isn't good with him starting time to move on. Start McClendon at nosetackle.

 

Out of interest - why would we let Drew Butler go? He's not got injured and he's not Jeremy Kapinos, which makes him better than any punter we've had in the last five years or so.

Wallace and Mendy

 

I say Wallace and Mendy are the only ones that people will consider of any value. Washington or Indy could take Wallace I think. I wonder if Ike will be back. Isn't this the last year of his contract? Do you think he will retire a Steeler? We might just have to accept the fact that we are gonna be a team in transition for a while.

 

Suisham was the most dependable guy we had this year. You know how many FGs he actually missed? NONE. 2 were out of his range and everyone knew it, including Tomlin. The one today was bad snap.

 

Some people need to either step down from the ledge or jump.

 

I think the guys in red are done. Some because we can't afford to keep them from the open market (Wallace, Mendy) and others because of their play or backups being ready (Starks, Mundy). I think they can talk Troy into a pay cut which will free up some cash.

I'd love to see the Dwyer/Redman experiment end and keep Mendy as our starter, but it's clear that our coaching staff is ready to part ways with Mendy.

I don't think Troy will take a pay cut, but restructure his contract to be more cap-friendly. He looked a little more like the "Old Troy" today. Perhaps he still has a couple good years left in him.

 

Yea mabe we can get Mark Sanchez for Ben or how about that idiot from the Ratbirds. I wouldent get rid of Ben and Tomlin better get his team disciplined or he will be gone. This is the most undisciplined Steeler team I can remember.

That dumbass fieldgoal attempt today and in the Tenn game are all on Tomlin. I was at the Tenn game and Suisham was barely making 50 yarders in practice. He's good but he isnt a 51 plus kicker at all, or ever!

 

May I go a step further, Colon, Mendy, (Woodley, Mendy Wallace trade bait) Hood and Heyward trade bait.
we should also explore a new WR coach Rb coach DL coach and DC. LB coach. and most important
a new strength and conditioning coach along with st coach. Can we also have MT and Todd Haley get on
same page as the players they are coaching? (Can we see MT get a course in clock mgmt, time out play calling,
player development, overall man up to these prima donas) Todd Haley has been a big disappontment
this year also. In closing we have alot of work to do.
