Going through games play by play to fine players that weren't flagged is f**king absurd. Those were not that egregious. Anyone know where all the money from fines goes? It's one thing if it's to charities but I highly doubt it.

The players have allowed this through their weak union. They fine when they watch a video and one sock is to low, that may be just folklore but I recall players saying they just waited to see what ups or fedex envelope would end up weekly and who got them. One thing to lower your head and ram someone, another when you subjectively decide to penalize someone a game check amount, without any real method for the player to defend themselves. It may have been a violation, IDK, but for the union to not have negotiated this better in the CBA shows how weak they are towards their members.

The fines go to the old players

The fines collected are donated to the Professional Athletes Foundation to support Legends in need and the NFL Foundation to further support the health, safety and wellness of athletes across all levels, including youth football and the communities that support the game.

I can respect that, but I find it kind of odd the way and amount the players are fined. TJ was in an interview recently and was asked about a recent fine, he said it was still in dispute and he could not talk about it, but generally the amount gets reduced and you just move on. The swing votes for the most recent CBA were based on minimum rookie contracts getting nearly a 1/3 raise, but they added the 17th game. I would love to see the total fines on each player at the end of the year. Guys like TJ or Minkah might not like it, but they can take the hit, guys on the minimum that is a huge chink.

Here is another angle. I guess it is crown of helmet into his chest. Steelers might want to consider a blocking scheme that doesn't put a RB on a DL

If that's a fine, then there's a fine on every single play. I still see nothing to warrant that level of a penalty.

What's the over-under on stupid penalties against the Steelers like these this week? I propose 1.5.

The NFL prints money. So they have to fine players enormous amounts of money to help support these charity's? Goodell and the owners at their lowest.

I can understand fining a player for launching for the head. But really with that type of infraction they should be suspended and have to give up game checks.

So Goodell's henchmen scour the games just looking for fines even if their wasn't a penalty. Even if their was a penalty taking smack is a finable offense? And the greedy owners love this i'm sure so a penny doesn't have to come out of their pockets. It's all about the money with these bloated owners. This union is beyond weak.
