In some ways he is right; Kenny being accustomed now to an NFL Schedule compared to a Season ago. In other ways though?! Cannot say I would be inclined to agree.

Regardless, I do hope for a win tomorrow!! :herewego:

I think a lot of it rides with Kenny and how he improves.

I like how they aren't just throwing in the towel on him yet. I think the game will slow down a bit for him and he'll feel more comfortable.

If not, they can add more competition through the draft next year at the position

Not so sure about this. The offense looks worse than last season if that was even possible. D missing Cam all year is killer he’s probably the second most important guy on that unit. Minkah is a ghost this year.

As negative as I have been about this team this year and Tomlin, I feel good about this game.

They were 1-4 after five games last season, right?

They're 3-2 right now so, yeah, of course, they're in a better position.

In 2022 after 5 games, they'd scored less points and given up more points than now.

Doesn't mean it will end up any different, or better, of course, but I think they are in a better position than now than last year.

Better record, but their offense is equally as inept. That’s what concerns me the most.

Where they are playing him is part of that, plus since that penalty in the Browns game seems like they are watching and calling him a lot. Might be coincidence, but it also could get in ones head and affect play.

Last year they put KP in after a few games with Mitch, in the era after the first 4 games a team should have their identity. Indeed it may get better, but to be at this point 5 games in is pathetic. On FSR some fill in guy was reviewing todays game, said they had just talked to MT an hour earlier, Mike pointed out they had played 3 of the best D's in the first 5 weeks and we are 3-2. Understandable, but your O still stinks against lessor D's.

They had also only 6 points vs Texans!...And to have 0 first down on offense in the first 28 minutes vs 49ers is just awful and I don't care how great the 49ers are on defense,0 first down in the first 28 minutes,it should never happen in the NFL....They had also no first down in the first 20 minutes in the next game too vs Browns

I try and be positive, we are in a better place last year in standings. The statements just do not move me however, these are the same issues we have had for several years and until there is consistency on the field it's just meaningless talk. It may happen, last year we averaged 121 yards per game running (bottom in the league),
this year we are at 80. The list goes on, do not tell us we will get better, prove it on the field and make us believe.

This "better position" isn't passing anyone's eye test. That's a fact.

I hope you are right Mike because our division is getting a bit scary.
