I like gold stars. While you're handing them out, give yourself one for at least spelling the word correctly. I mean, it's the wrong word and used incorrectly but hey, I think you can use all the pats on the back you can get.

They apparently enjoy many different things than I imagine I would.

It really isn't, especially when the OP is considered in the larger context of your posts on this board.

I'd be surprised you were old enough to drink coffee. Did you grab the mug while the teacher wasn't looking again?

I figured it on-par for you.

Anytime someone uses critical thinking with your arguments you quickly devolve it into juvenile accusations and name-calling. Same behavior you've exhibited before.

True but if in the final 2 month, the steelers score close to 20 PPG and the steelers finish at 9-8 or 10-7,Canada will be back for 2024 because they were better at the end of the season.....

I don't think He will get fired this season(because that's not how usually the Steelers work), but I would put money on that He is gone after the season. The only thing that would save His job is a SB.

The offense lacks a fundamental aspect of any sport and that is game planning and practicing for the opponent for the up coming game. This has been the M.O. of every Tomlin team for his tenure with the single notable exception of the year they prepared for the Patriots by bringing in a former Giants coach as an advisor and they prepared for a fight. Now I'm sure some well known board members will challenge my statement about game planning and practice because this is well fought ground so let me start with yes the practice, yes the work on skills during the week but I have seen little to no evidence that Tomlin has his staff prepared to play the players they are playing against.

Let's look at the 1st two games this season. You have highly talented defenses with high level skill guys on the edge or DL. Did the Steelers make any attempt to address Bosa or Garrett either with extra blockers, a TE chipping, a delayed draw in the gap that their pass rush was creating? Did they attempt to provide Moore or Chuks with help? Did they try on defense to send more blitzes than the Niners could handle to force Purdy to throw it before he was ready? Not until the score was out of control and Aiuyk had racked up 2TD's and some yac.

Against the Texans they were not prepared for a team that did nothing magical but simply played a physical brand of football that the Steelers couldn't match. Again they didn’t care what the Texans could, would or did do but went into it thinking that no team could beat them if they do what they do.

Until such time that a position coach or coordinator says this is what the plan is this is what we are practicing, this is how we attack this team we are facing all the schemes, playbooks, practice reps, attention to detail will be worthless.

I have to disagree with one point. Neither Bosa nor Garrett registered any meaningful stats in those games.

We were trending down also with an aging QB. Bens play seemed diminished his last two years. His QBR the last 2 years was the worst of his career. IMHO his retirement should have came sooner. So as you pointed out we have a coaching issue and maybe a QB issue. The only reason I still believe in KFP is because of what he showed us he is capable of doing during last season ( the last minutes wins and not the amount of points he scored) We all saw it with our very own eyes his preseason throws. We should get back to that lol

The real problem with this statement is “how the Steelers work”

The Steelers way doesn’t work anymore unless 500 records and 0 playoff wins is working.

(not saying you are wrong STD about how they operate)

I tend to agree. He has never been great anyways but he will definitely find work elsewhere. Will see.

Tomlin. I can't imagine Canada getting work outside of perhaps HS team.
