....he said he would have played last week.

I see a lot of guys with a sense of urgency. Now why would they do that if they knew the season was gonna fail and that Kenny was a bust like so many Einsteins seem to know?????

This is good news. Hopefully he’s playing more like last season than early this season.

Well, I'm not sure where that "sense of urgency" went in the Houston game. Muth has shown some "give up" looks this season, like in some of those "attempted" blocks (diving on the ground where the DE simply jogged around him laying on the ground). But the effort seemed to return vs. the Ravens thank God. Let's see if Tomlin can keep the team "up" for the Rams.

I have a feeling his injury is going to end up being a good thing as he had time to see how badly they need him to produce.

He was playing hurt after taking that shot in the chest against the 49ers. Hopefully he is ready to roll and be productive. He could really help Pickett out if they can get some things worked out and figure out who his go-to guys are when things break down. That's when he used Muth the most last season. Late in games and while on the move creating, he would find his tight end. They were deadly at crunch time.

I’m sure it has been injury related, but he has not looked good this year. This is something that’s aggravated me for quite some time. If these guys can’t perform which an injury then they need to sit and let the backup play.

That's just it. If Muth was that injured and shouldn't have been out there, why wasn't Washington getting his feet wet? They should have had him blocking more and slowly working in some plays for him here and there to get experience.

Let's see what they do from here. I'm hoping we see a little more 12 personnel. Get Washington in there with Muth and do some damage in those situations with some play action and some power running game. I think Washington lined up on Broderick Jones' shoulder on the left side could be a force. It would also open up some other opportunities and maybe slow the pass rush down a bit to help Pickett.

“If” that was the case then we all know the answer.
