They need to stop being cute on kneel downs!

I feel like, if we’re talking about my feelings, that if they played the percentages, they would’ve lined up correctly and not been penalized. Furthermore, I feel like they weren’t in victory formation as used by a high percentage of teams. Minkah left and they didn’t have anyone back deep.

 

TBH, the proper decision would have been for Pickens to go down at the one yard line. Ravens would’ve used their second timeout at that point and their final one after a first down play….. steelers then run the clock down to 3 seconds and kick a 20 yard field goal for the 11-10 win. Instead the Ravens got the ball two times in the final 1:17.

 

That's fine and all, but they were still down at that point and a FG is not a sure thing, as we saw when they beat the Bengals because of a blocked FG.

I have no problem with scoring the TD there. My only issue is the defense got you that ball back to run the clock out, you kept changing personnel on the kneel down to cause confusion and get a penalty because of it. You just took a knee, use the same guys and do it again!

 

Yes, the point was they changed the personnel and he's jogging off the field leaving 10 guys and an uncovered tackle!

 

It's all about the physicality!
