Well said Sir! Can you imagine if the Steelers won a SB like this? So many around here would be crying until the following September. I'm sure many in this thread felt that way about when the Steelers beat Warner in the SB. "Yeah we won but but only barely and it wasn't very convincing". No doubt this Steeler team has so much work to do to improve and not certain they have all the right parts but for now, I'm sure digging this unexpected W yesterday.

 

I read in newspaper, Kenny called an audible when he saw cover 0 and man coverage on Pickens. If that’s the case, the only TD the offense scores is when your basically rookie QB calls the audible, proves that Canada needs to get on with his life’s work!

 

I said before the game in another thread that the Steelers couldn't win unless they forced at least 3 turnovers and had at least 3 sacks. They forced 3 turnovers and had 4 sacks. Is this sustainable week in and week out? No but it happens often enough to still keep them relevant in the AFC.

Oh I'll take a win any day as well, but this win also reinforces the fact that we aren't going anywhere this year. We're a train wreck offensively. So while this win is nice, nothing I saw makes me confident that there will be any wins come January.

 

Absolutely Shaner. No one is crowning them the 72 Dolphins anytime soon. And Watt cannot have a game like that every week. Just thankful for his good health so far. I'm a huge KP fan after his last year at Pitt but not as a 1st rounder. There are way too many poor decisions and head scratching plays/passes on his part. Of course these are magnified so much because the run game is generally so dismal these days. You also remember half of the posters on this MB couldn't stop complaining during the 11-0 start a few years back. Yes it was short lived but lots of fun while it happened. BTW - always meant to ask - where is your Ram road rally avatar pic taken?

We have three wins, we’re leading our division. Nothing wrong with being happy and excited about that. Also nothing wrong with acknowledging that there’s problems on the team, but the idea is to have a balance.

That's right Matt Canada, your players are frustrated and they have to play better. They have to all be supermen because your offensive system doesn't work and it doesn't allow their natural talent to take over on the field. They are all being restricted by your offense.

Listening to a horrible coach talk publicly about his players needing to get better is such a delight.

How about a little self-evaluation Matt? Are there things that you can be doing better Matt?
