I know and no matter what I will root for them but being in the boiler room shoveling coal into the boilers while the ship is sinking isn't a great feeling!

Just more word salad. Hope for the best but Mike ain’t gonna change. He needs to keep the scapegoats afloat for whatever job security he shouldn’t but obviously still has.

he’s gotten by purely on the talent he’s had. One of the greatest at motivating when stuff is bleak but not enough Xs and Os in his lab or with his staff to make it count

I'm officially done backing him if this is really how he feels at this point. It can't get any more obvious that the players don't buy into this system or the coordinator. You have to move on, we're seeing a regression from the QB. He's not a good playcaller, the route trees for expected outcomes are hot garbage.

That 4th and 1 seals it for me. You need your best play to get 1 yard and you line up in shotgun for a 5 step drop in a play you used earlier on 2nd down? While you were just getting positive yards with Najee and the line was getting amped up in the run game?

I don't honestly know who's doing what, but...Bill had a different owner than Mike Has.

I do have to agree about the Arians, and Haley part . Even Arians said that Mike Tomlin wanted to keep Him. Like I said I don't know who's doing what, but that part You are correct about.

If Canada contract is up after the season, why would they bring him back next season?

I've seen head coaches call the offence. MT has been a HC for 16 years. Why doesn't he take over the offence?

Whilst neither Arians nor LeBeau were officially fired, you cannot tell me that they weren't forced out. In Arians case, the franchise wanted to be a "stronger running team," and he "retires." Nobody retires and goes immediately back to work IE Arians to Indianapolis. LeBeau's case is a bit trickier but you can make the argument that he was pushed out in favor of Butler. In this situation I can see how the Steelers would favor Butler as a more long term solution as DC, due to LeBeau's age and the amount of teams inquiring for Butler's services. So yes, while technically neither were fired; however, those two were surely pushed out, and one retired and the other resigned.

I always felt Arians was forced out because his passing attack involved longer developing routes and Ben was getting killed (because said O line wasn't fixed) and they wanted to move to a quick passing attack to keep Ben's career alive. I thought Lebeau was retired because Tomlin wanted more direct control of the defense and also wanted to start tinkering with the 3-4 scheme Lebeau was running. All anecdotal on my part but that's what I thought at the time.

I'm pretty sure Hoody will put up his 6 rings (8 if you count his time with NY as DC) and say "There is my coaching tree, you got any questions?":lolol:
